I waited a few minutes, then logged back in and tried again. Same thing happened, except it took less time. Logging in a third time and the game crashed almost immediately upon starting to play the character in Lion's Arch (and this time I thought to actually recover the crash report, which is reprinted here). Haven't logged back in to test with other characters. I'm not using any add-ons...and I can't make heads or tails of the crash report's gibberish, so I really have no idea what's happening here. You can check your disk for any errors. You can try re-installing/rolling back/updating AMD graphic drivers. You can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below and 'Submit a Ticket' for assistance.  Good luck. Oddly, there wasn't a notification to update Windows until hours later - but I haven't encountered a crash since. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
