Blacknight.7205
I see that a necro can have three specializations - my question is can i have more than one? If so, can i switch between them or am i stuck with the last one I get?
SandraSolace.7682
You can have all three but you can only use one at a time. So 2 "normal specializations" and an elite. You're also able to have a build for all three so you can switch. You may wanna look here foor more info: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Specialization Edited March 29, 2022 by SandraSolace.7682 adding link

Jukhy.2431
You can also swap equipment and build templates with the selection menu on left side of your skill bar (above the weapon swap button). And you can make shortcut keybindings for them too from options: Control Options -> Templates.
voodoo.7412
As a core necro you have Spite ,Curses ,Death Magic ,Soul reaping and blood magic as specialization and you can use 3 of them in your traits panel. And 3 elites based on each expansion Reaper ,Scourge ,Harbinger and you can use with two of the core above. Only one elite can be used as it give different play style plus weapon that you do not have available in core necro reaper Greatsword Scourge torch and Harbinger pistol also your death shroud will be different for each elite when you enter shroud. So lets say you want to play more offence you can go reaper as it is more of a power based specialization and adding Soul reaping and spite that can work better for power reaper. So you cannot go reaper and scourge at the same time only one elite + 2 core
