jade power pylon

in the eod story in deepest secrets, there's a part where im assuming we're supposed to use a jade bot to get past a barrier, but i press f to use the bot and nothing happens and im stuck in the story and can't advance.

You have to suck the energy out of the batteries first, before you can charge the pylon to remove the barrier.

After that, you have to suck the charge out of that first pylon, because you need that charge for the next barrier.

Keep in mind that there is a cast bar for getting charges and using the charges, which gets cancelled by movement.
