Necro or Mechanist for high ping ?

hello all im new to the game and im from the SEA region and i am currently playing in the NA region with 250-280ms ping im mostly into spvp but i do play pve as well , i have read a couple of post here saying that necro is good for high ping due to defenses/hp and other stuff in spvp but i am personally interested in mechanist and since the elite specialization is new i have no info on how good it would perform under high ping situations in spvp is it viable for my ping ? thanks

Avoid builds that rely on active defenses like dodges, blocks, barrier, evades... and choose a passive defense tanky build for example the minionmancer: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Necromancer_-_Condi_Minion_Master
