The insane bloom effect of light colours under specific lighting conditions when using DX11 needs to be addressed.

I think these problems may be specific to certain videocards/chip.

Personally i have little problems with my RTX 3080 (nvidia). The most annoying problem that i have is when you have to capture Arborstone (eod story). The lighting becomes very green and yellow. And stays that way even after finishing the mission and re-loading the public version of the map. I have to reload my character to get rid of the green/yellow lighting (after that the map looks normal again).

See I don't get that green and yellow crap in Arborstone and I'm using an Nvidia card (RTX 2060). I very much doubt Nvidia are going to release a driver update for a DX11 beta for a very old game. Sad reality. So it's a choice now between a 8-12fps loss in certain maps or retina burn - unless Anet try to sort it, but given their track record that is a very unlikely. Joyous air!

I run on an ASUS (AMD) RX580 and this is a problem I've never seen. I suspect it occurs on older GPU's (from either major provider).

The RTX 2060 (both the desktop and mobile variants) are newer than the RX 580. My previous build had a RX 580 in it but that was prior to the DX11 "beta".

I have returned! To show the continued ridiculousness that has been left ignored. Please address this Anet. It is not GPU driver related. It has been an issue since DX11 beta and remains to be a problem. I'm not the only one with this problem.

With Post Processing on High or Low (bloom on):

With Post Processing off (bloom off):

Unfortunately with all of the settings baked into a single option, it's either bloom retina burn, or no post processing at all.
