How do you block a poster here

Don’t wanypt to see any of his posts. How do I do that.

On PC you can hover over their username and pick 'Ignore User' in the box which pops up, then select which content from them you want to ignore (the options are posts, messages, mentions and signature).

I think you'll still see their posts when someone else quotes them, and of course you'll see replies to them (so sometimes conversations will make no sense), but you won't see their posts directly if you pick that option.

Edit: Nope, apparently that doesn't work. I'm not sure what that option does do then. I remember it working, but that might have been on the old forum.

I'm pretty sure all of that is mostly to avoid direct messages. Not forum posts.

Click on your user name at the top, from the drop down menu choose „ignored users“ 

there you can enter the username you want to ignore.

from that moment on you wont see any posts by that user anymore.

One of the choices being 'posts' seems to indicate that, indeed, forum posts can be ignored.  (Messages being another choice.)

It turns out I missed a step, you have to specify which content types you want to ignore.
