However if you buy a GW2 expansion through Steam it will apply to your separated Steam GW2 account and not the old Anet account. So people might end up trying to buy Steam expansions while playing on the Anet account, which is incompatible. People can refund and it's people's own doing by modifying the command line but I can't help but feel there's going to be some blowback and ruffled feathers over this.
