Story mesmer build - virtuoso or core preferred

I stink at stories (pve in general).  I can't figure out the puzzles, spend inordinate amount of times figuring where to click, etc.  I need a build that will help me survive my stupidity.

I'd really prefer to stay with virtuoso, but core is an option as well.  Any suggestions?

 

background - I'm trying to unlock the beetle and skyscale.  I've done mostly wvw, but I jump back to pve sometimes to do stories as a change of pace.  I usually just die over and over until I finish, so I've done a fair amount of the story already.   The first episode was pure torture for me, so I'm hoping there's a better build out there.

Most any Condi Virtuoso build should be strong enough for any Story or AP hunting you want to do.   You may prefer using. Chaos variant over Dueling as it offers a bit more sustain.
