Game crashing when trying to access control options

Since the latest balance patch the game will immediatly crash when you try to access the control options.

This seems only to happen when client language is set to 'german'.

I had the same problem, everytime I click on the controls settings the gane instantly crashes and it's been like that since the patch. Idk what can I do.

You could try to delete the Local.dat: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Local.dat

If that doesn't help, try a -prefreset: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments#-prefreset
Add the command line argument to your GW2 shortcut, as described. It will reset all your settings, which could solve the issue.

Also, make sure all your drivers are up-to-date.

Hello!

We're aware of this issue and are working on a fix. In the meantime, try the following workaround:

1. Open the Graphics Options menu and set your Interface Size option to anything other than "Small".
2. Attempt to open the menu that was previously causing crashes.
