How can I turn off the blood effect around the edge of my screen. I can't stand it.

While that technically is a solution for this one specific case, it'd be nice to be able to completely disable all screen edge effects.

This would be especially welcome in Bjora Marches, where the frost effect literally inflicts physical discomfort and sometimes even pain.

Sadly, I don't think there's an option for that.

Why? Anet has a very very long track record of not adding things like this so why would I bother. I asked a simple question about turning it off. If it's not already in the game the chances to have it added are slim to zero.
