Launcher stuck on initializing

Game worked fine a few days ago. I patched the game and opened the game but it was showing a black screen in the character select, but i could see the ui. I selected a character and i had a really long loading screen. when it put me in game i saw myself and other players in placeholder models standing in a void four about 10 minutes before i restart my pc, updated drivers, updated windows and now i go to open the game and it wont even open past the launcher.

I got through the patch but now when on character loading screen it says gw2 not responding

I did try to update to windows 11 earlier this week and had trusted coded turned on, but never finished making my pc work with windows 11 and didn't update. I just turned off trusted coding and rebooted and it seems to open right away.

able to play now but performance is really bad ever since the patch. had to lower my settings a lot and it still stutters. 

 

edit: For me it was an issue on my end I think. I updated my bios and it works good now.

Unable to get past character load screen. I get a message saying that the program is not responding.
