You do not need to be active in the Discord only have to be in it and acquire level 5. Level 5 takes only 10-20 messages or around 10 minutes unmuted in a voice channel, very simple and quick to get. The discord is where all events, training requests, LFG, etc are posted. Basically all of the guild content signups are through discord not in-game, so the in-game guild is completely optional. If you join the discord all details are posted in the #guild-invite and #xp-system channels, very simple to get Level 5 and you do not even have to be in the guild to access all the community has to offer!
