Ideas on how to greatly improve Silent Surf Cm

Hey guys. The recent addition of the Silent Surf CM has been very inconsistent and relatively tedious. The fight feels way too long and cluky, both speaking of normal mode but especially the cm mode. Here are my ideas on how to greatly improve the feel of silent surf cm:

  • Remove pre clear of ads and mini boss, start straight at the platform above main boss
  • The entire grapple kit thing is removed in the CM
  • At 66 and 33 ads spawn as normally but you will have to kill them in order for them to drop a teleport which each player can choose to use to go to the individual islands. This removes the entangle mechanic which makes fight overall much less rng based, more consistent and players can choose themselves how to interact with the encounter.
  • Boss HP reduced by 33%, some mechanics are more punishing
  • Instead of boss standing around doing nothing while it's charging up phases it will insead do big swings inbetween phases which needs to be dodged or minigated
  • Boonrip aoes also strip hp from players and gives it to boss
  • During number around phase of boss it will gain a buff that reduces hp taken by 60%, this makes ranged not mandatory
  • The ad that spawn periodically during the fight will shoot more aoes, making it almost not optional to not kill it, again an ad on platform will have to be killed to get to island to deal with it
  • Split phase occurs less but are more punishing
