Your answer implies comparing the difficulty aspect is pointless since the two games are very different. Not sure I agree, but that's certainly not the reaction I tried to elicit as I merely share fond memories of GW1. In fairness I spent far more time playing GW1, since its early betas, and I stopped playing GW2 because of how undemanding the gameplay felt.
