That may be true but there are mutliple specs now that can reapply condi faster than you can combo to remove it, which intensifies in group fights. It just means you have to kite in and out of fights a lot more now, which reduces overall damage significantly. This is why I play dagger offhand for firegrab = more spike burst, and then ride wind for added mobility. Focus is good, but real hit to spike damage/mobility. More clense in focus fire 5 that is true, but really.. specters scepter 3, you can't keep up with clensing that, not even close. So it comes to the situation of miss a dodge, or miss an immune at a vital time, you die, in seconds @12k hp. Way too punishing.
