API: "account does not have game access"

Hello

When I use https://gw2efficiency.com/user/api-keys query my API.

The result is:

This API key is invalid, has corrupted API data or the API is down.
Error reported by the API: "account does not have game access"

I've been waiting for a day and I'm using a Steam account to log in to Guild Wars 2.

I have already purchased
Guild Wars 2:Heart of Thorns™ & Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire™ Expansions
Guild Wars 2 - End of Dragons Expansion
Guild Wars 2 - Living World

Should I continue to wait?
Or go to customer support?

You mention the errors that the gw2effenciency website is giving you...

You mention which gw2 expansion you have...

But you do NOT mention if you have generated an API key or not. Every tool or website that uses the gw2 API needs a VALID key otherwise it cannot do its job.

You can generate an API key via https://account.arena.net/. There you need to login with your gw2 credentials and then go to applications.

But i am NOT 100% sure if this system also works for Steam accounts.

I am now 100% sure that this also works for Steam accounts. I bought an extra account via steam (exactly same content as you), went to that site, used the button saying "login through steam account". After that i went to applications and created my new key (i used all permissions).

I only tested that key in an application that i created for myself and that worked fine.
