Valaraukar.7652 Posted January 21 Share Posted January 21 (edited) ====================================================================== The Twisted Marionette by [MARI] ====================================================================== ====================================================================== What is it ? ❔ ====================================================================== The Twisted Marionette is meta event who was introduced at the release of the living season 1. This meta was again available in the year of 2021 in public instance and private at Eye of the North. The Twisted Marionette is a giant Twisted Watchwork super-weapon found as a boss inside The Twisted Marionette instance accessed from Mist Stranger in Eye of the North.. The main goal of the Twisted Marionette is to cut the chains of this giant Twisted Watchwork and to do that, the squad must split in 5 equal group. These group will need to fight a boss on the 5 platform of their lane. For that, these group will need to pass a portail where they will be separate in an another small group usually with 2-3 people. When the boss of the platform is killed, you have access to a power regulator who need to be destroyed. Each regulator must be destroyed and if a group fail, the chain will be not cutted and as result the lane fail forcing the next lane to try to cut this chain again. Each lanes have different boss who have different mechanics. Between each phase, the other lanes need to stop the invasion with killing mobs and specially the twisted enemies who spawn in the beginning of the lane. Letting these enemies going to the portail increase the Aethercannon level and if the level is full, it's a fail of the meta. To stop that, you need to CC these champions and killing them. A fail chain increase 25 % of the Aethercanon level, so too much fail lane and it's the fail of the meta event. Cutting the 5 chains result the success of the meta event. This meta need some coordination and specially a degree of CC. Player who join this meta must know their hard cc skill. After the smashing success of their maiden run the 24 July 2022, [Mari] is doing a run every day. Soon, it will be 2 years that [Mari] is running every day a Marionnette run. The main goal of the guild is this meta event. Right now, it's not a raid guild even if our member are doing raid/strike/etc on their side. But sometimes we play together. With joining our run, you will have explanations of each lanes mechanics and some times too tips. Recently we have started to translate in different language to make the run more understandable in the other language. Our run are most exclusively in public instance because the public instance has a cap 80 players while the private one has a 50 players cap, making the run more accessible, succeed and less stressful for everyone. Even if we did in the past a private run with succeed, we enjoy more public one. Joining our squad make you sure in normal times to be on the main map and not on the second who is often not full. This year will be soon our second year of daily run. We are happy when people let us know that they are glad to see this meta run still alive with our run and enjoying our runs. But of course, this succeed will be nothing without you, so we want to say to you : we love you !
