I started doing the "Token Collector" achievement in Ember Bay, and I noticed that the geometry has completely changed from all the guide videos online - even one posted just 4 months ago has completely different geometry in the path leading up to token #19. It appears that this path is now blocked off and inaccessible, and getting the token is impossible! Am I just completely blind, or has there been an oversight with geometry changes on this map? It's blocking the path to Mursaat Token #31 which is required to finish the achievement "Token Collector". This achievement is a pre-requisite to unlock the collection of the legendary trinket "Aurora". The Token's still hidden at the same spot, but now blocked from access. Previously the way to get it was from inside the jp-area, near the checkpoint 3. It could be quite tricky, as picking it without a backup mesmer/thief-portal or rewinder-mark meant to repeat the jp from bottom or getting stuck in a little side cave while seeking for it. A jp that often poses a challenge to the non-jump-enthusiasts. Workaround: Currently the only way to get the token is by gliding out of the jp area from a higher spot until you leave the no-mount-zone. Then interrupt the gliding, and glide again with Jade Bot Glide Booster now becoming available again. Then glide back into the jp-area, into a small cave where you need to use the glide boost to get to the token spot. However, this workaround requires the expansion EoD and at least a Jade Bot Core Tier 1. It's also quite challenging to execute properly and since we are talking about LW3 content here, this can't be the now intended way to get it and should be fixed soon! Ciroquel.2394 Posted June 6 Share Posted June 6 Let me copy from my reddit post yesterday, it might be more precise: Glide out of the jp-area from a higher spot (preferably from the top, so you have some room for error) until you leave the no-mount-zone. Then interrupt the gliding, drop down a bit and glide again with Jade Bot Glide Booster now being (and remaining) available again. Then glide back into the no-mount-zone into a small cave where you need to use the glide boost to get to the token spot. Previously you'd have reached the Token from above (now covered by a rock) and could only leave the cave on the route I described. We are kind of cheesing it with the Jade Bot Boost now. Emogirl.2083 Posted June 7 Share Posted June 7 Looking at videos and other guides of acquiring this token the terrain is completely different, The path to token #19 is blocked and there is a small gap that you cant fit trough, due to this aurora legendary accessory is not completable. I've seen a couple of posts regarding token 31 and 19, i saw that there is a workaround for token 31, but i did not see any for 19 apart from a person offering TP2F on NA server. I think those changes weren't intended, or at least just for a small number of map parts in shapes of some rocks, which are re-used elsewere. So those changes accidently carried over. Suyheuti.1732 Posted June 19 Share Posted June 19 2 weeks no fix. Great, really great. By the way, there was a person (EU) who breached these two tokens, you can teleport him using t2f.
