Janthir syntri - Gosta Event location?

By Sanguine Crater waypoint I saw the event window on right of my screen for Gosta's event but I can't find the event anywhere. Can someone describe where to find Gosta to do this event? It popped at the same time as the timer began for the meta so maybe it blocked it or something? Or is it one of the events that only happens during meta time?

Edit: The event started again after about 10mins at the bloodstone research camp with the npc and event markers showing clearly. Possibly the first iteration I experienced wasa bug due to it starting at the same time as the meta timer started. Leaving this here in case anyone else searches for this.

I've seen it pop miltiple times now and there is no indicator of where Gosta is. I think this is a broken event.

For me its always at the research camp. I've done it before the meta too.
