Using two portals together

Apologies if this was common knowledge, but I just figured this out.

You can portal home, then use another portal that has a return feature, like Thousand Islands, to go craft or use facilities not in the homestead. The using that 2nd portal “again” returns you not to the homestead, but where you “entered” the homestead. Your starting place.

Yes, if I needed to go to 1000 Islands I could have hub/n/spoked it, leaving the homestead, porting, returning, then back home, but the “wheel of porting” saves a step.
