Navigating the Desert.

Hello, for all those that played in Beta, how is the maps? Are they easier to navigate than the jungle? Is it all on 3/4 levels again with gaping chasms and silly detours to get 10 yards from your previous position? (Really didn't like the jungle!)

What was previewed, yes, a little easier to navigate. However, the maps may become complex, as mounts will be needed to access certain areas, so expect it.

Everything is fluid and easy to get around you can go anywhere do anything as long as you have the right mount to do it in.Maps are gigantic and the night sky similar to Rata Sum's night sky. :o

We only got to see one portion of one map. That portion we did get to see was easy to navigate, without any confusing "What level is that thing on?" moments. But, as I said, we only saw a small portion of what's being added.

The beta map was pretty easy to navigate. There were two MPs that were tricky to reach, but maybe a different mount would have helped. I got the first using a sort of flying dismount technique, where the extra little bit of elevation from the mount could be used to initiate a glide. I only got the second one by logging out and back to circumvent a very narrow gap in some rocks. Dulfy is my heroine!
