LindaPearl.2308
I bought 3 tools when they first came out and the game soul bound them to the character so i could not use them across my acct. the new glyph can not be put on any of them and i dont feel this is fair. why dont you add something to the bl specialist to trade these soul bound tools in for the acct bound ones so we can use the glyph? any help sure would be appreciated on this matter. Holykitten.3064
You can exchange Soulbound Tools for Account Bound tools at the Black Lion Weapons Specialist.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Weapons_Specialist#Unlimited_gathering_toolsYou may then need to change your new Account-Bound Tool for one with the Glyph slot with another merchant located near the BL Weapons Specialist. Steve The Cynic.3217
The second merchant is the Black Lion Exchange Specialist - these can be found near ALL static Trading Post NPCs (pickup points, but not summoned ones). They also take town clothing tonics and give town clothing outfits in return. Inculpatus cedo.9234
As noted above, what you seek has been possible since the Nov. 12th, 2013 update. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/release-notes-for-the-nightmares-within/ A great tip for the future: The Wiki has information for all things GW2: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gathering_tool or https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Molten_Alliance_Mining_Pick
