Some Scourge Help?

Hiya.

Since HoT launched Ive been using Reaper as my main character, pretty much 90% of my playtime has been on it. I just fully unlocked Scourge, and want to try it out. But I am having some issues...mainly that I cant find a good build for it. I admit I have been kinda lazy, using reaper + minions + rise to pretty much faceroll PvE stuff. Some things Im a lil confused about..

I recently got my full Viper set, since I figured it would benefit my current build AND Scourge, but most of the discussions I see, seem to be about "Power Scourge"? Did I miss something? >.> Second...is Scourge + minions viable at all? And last...any good baseline build I can start with? I have Full Viper's...weapons I have are GS, Focus, Warhorn, Staff, Axe, and Dagger, and the Exotic Scourge Torch. Which weapon(s) are best for Scourge?

I know this kinda seems like a noob-ish topic. I am just really bad at setting up my own build, and info I am reading seems to be all over the place. D:

Power scourge does less damage than condi scourge, but more damage than power reaper.

Scepter torch\dagger. Only minion with using is the cloud looking one for life force generation. I'll provide my build in the morning on my phone now.

Here is what I run generally running around. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vRAQRArf7YnE9CV3gd3AO9C83gFjBTvtOXzrULhoQtK6nFA2WAIf you pop Blood is power and then epidemic you'll transfer the torment/bleed/vuln off on your next crit or you can use dagger #4 and then use epidemic. Parasitic contagion is huge for survivability especially with epidemic; you heal based off of all the conditions you spread. F5 is your bread and butter for DPS but also provides a hefty shield. Use f3 as further barrier and f4 to get mobs to peal off of you.

If lifeforce is an issue switch to Shadowfiend, or Dessicate if the mobs are using boons and the group is low on might. Remember torch #4 generates lifeforce and a healthy burn, it does best hitting multiple targets.

What kind of content do you typically run? Raids, Fractals, Open World, WvW, sPvP?

I'm mainly doing open world stuff for now...working on PoF story and achievements, and then going back to finish up HoT and maybe some map completion. Fractals might be somethign I would consider after. PvP is somethign I don't really do very much of, for now.
