Got it. :p Seems kinda silly for them to invest time into a "joke mount" when they can invest it into something that the vast majority does not think looks like an abomination, like a GOOD LOOKING pegasus, or good looking mount in general...which would make them much more money. But yes, to each their own.

Yeah the quality has absolutely been affected since then. Nobody really knows what they are working on, if anything. The only rumor is they might be working on some kind of console game, but there's no actual info on that. Anet was never good at being transparent, so if they are working on anything, we wont know until its almost done already, when its too late for us to give any real input or ideas. I used to spend a lot of time and money into GW2, but I stopped that. I have standards as to what I will spend money on, and sadly this franchise that I have loved for almost 20 years has dropped below that standard.

People complained about both of those mounts as well, but not anywhere near this scale because...they werent nearly as terrible. This one is just bad. Not even bad, its just hideous. Not in a quirky way, not in an "omg it looks too dark and evil" way...its just plain fugly. I know some people will defend to the death ANYTHING anet does or puts out, and I understand maybe some people like it for some reason, and to each their own. But no...to most of us, seeing this brings the reaction of "oh my lord what the heck is that, what have they done, kill it with fire". Its atrocious, and NOT in any kind of quirky way.

As long as they flash and blink in random color patterns and play very loud EDM music.

Yeah, I was a little confused when they showed the concept art too. Was thinking "Um, nope, that's...not Drakkar at all". Not sure why they'd change its design so wildly, when its design is already established.

I would honestly be very interested to know exactly which ones WERE asked AND answered.

Maybe some people are "mad"...especially on reddit...which is where angry people go. >.> But honestly, what Ive seen among the people I know who play isnt anger. Its disappointment and a feeling of being let down. Maybe realizing that this game really wont be going much farther than where it is currently. Reality setting in, maybe.

Like many....I just feel let down and disappointed. They really DID hype it up, with the announcement, twitter posts, giveaways, and countdown. Saying it would be 40+ minutes led me to believe it would be a REALLY big reveal...and in my head I was thinking "it needs to be big. It NEEDS to be big". Well...it wasnt. Like many here Ive been playing since beta/early access. And honestly, the game has gotten stale for me. For me, this announcement was what would decide if I keep investing time and interest into it. And yeah...I didnt see anything that could do that. For me the rundown was like: -2.5 minute stylized, no-gameplay trailer-Super careful to not say too much, semi-awkward interviews, giving SOME info on features, while not going into any detail on anything.-Talking about the LW, while giving as few details as possible-Templates maybe possibly sometime soon* in the future but not now (maybe)-New world boss who was an old landmark in GW1. Here's some art, but his design isnt done yet.-PvP joke-"Buy our tights and bobbleheads please KBYE!" It was...not exciting. Didnt renew my hype for the game, and pretty much solidified my plans to stick to "other" mmos, which truly is sad for me.

1) GW2 just isnt that fun or exciting to watch being streamed. 2) GW2 really doesn't have much going on. WoW has 8.2 and classic. FF has its well-received expansion. GW2 has a 3 month old content update. 3) WoW has several big name "personality" streamers that bring in 20,000 viewers per stream.

The problem with a poll like this is that people who have already spent the 250 currency are obviously going to vote no. Since I haven't gotten to that part yet I'm obviously going to choose yes. But I don't see Anet doing it, since there would be an epic backlash, of people being mad that others dont have to work as hard as they did for it, and/or demanding 150 currency be refunded to them. I still chose yes. >.>

Honestly, naw. I kinda feel like the first "batch" was enough. I think the Roller Beetle is dumb, the Warclaw is useless, and once I get the Skyscale, I'll probably never be able to look at another collection again, without getting an instant migraine.

You need like...11,000 gold or something...to make them go like...5x as fast...I think. -shrugs- Personally I don't really care either way. I'll be honest, sometimes I DO wish I could just soar above the endless packed veteran mobs that stun, pull back, and knock down for 7 seconds, as I try to get to that one remaining PoI that I need as I clear a map for the 12th time. Yeah I know, it would make the other mounts less desirable. But honestly, that already happens. I NEVER use the Skimmer or Jackal because the Raptor and Griffon make them completely pointless except in very situational moments, or when a collection or something requires a Jackal portal. It could also be argued that the Griffon and Skyscale made gliders completely pointless, too. At one time I was in the "no, dont add it" crowd. Now I'm kind of in the "meh, doesn't matter to me either way" crowd. But yeah, Anet made it pretty clear that's not what they want anyway.
