Stronghold revamp.

one middle lane. several passage around it. one massive middle point. one tiny one on the edge.2 strongholds with one unbreakable door each for each team to defend.

whoever capture the tiny point on the edge unlock its legendary character to help attacking or defending the enemy siege engine.whoever capture the middle point will summon their siege engine and earn one point.the siege engine is immortal and move toward the enemy stronghold if there is no enemy around it and at least one ally to escort it.if the siege engine is surrounded by enemies without any allies nearby for a set amount of time it is destroyed and the defending team earn one point.

if the siege engine reach the target stronghold door it will destroy it (and itself) and the attacking team will earn an additional point. now that the door is open the attacking team can try and kill the enemy lord.the whole stronghold is also considered as a point. that point will be given to the attackers until the defenders reclaim it. by reclaiming your own stronghold any enemy within the stronghold hidden with invisibility will get revealed and killed. the door will be repaired. (or you could have a repair mechanic similar to WvW but with ressources to repair the door only available when the door is destroyed..)

if the door gets repaired the defending team earn one point.upon the door being repaired the middle point is being able to be captured after a little timer of around 5-10s so the defenders has time to reach the point.

if a team reach 5 points OR have more points after the timer ends OR kill the enemy lord, that team wins.(the legendary character will always spawn on the middle point and will never leave that point unless there is a siege engine to defend or attack. that character is also considered as a player as it can push the siege engine by itself or even capture/hold the middle point or the enemy stronghold. if a lord is vulnerable it will attack or defend that lord.)(only when the middle point is being available for catpure will the little point to summon the legendary character will become available.)

this is a mix of the current stronghold gameplay with hi rez's Paladins game. i believe this is the way to go to make gw2 stronghold a better competitive and pvp experience.the current map don't have to be changed much. you could still have 2 lanes with one for attack and one for defence but without any skritt summoning.

Right now there's no major issues with the map. Pick defense, offense, supply runner, or mixed bag. Its a lot of fun

sadly its a boring gamemode to a vast majority of players. the gamemode as it is right now need to be changed. even 2v2 & 3v3 was more popular than this.the fact that they still didn't made any new maps for that gamemode just tells you how popular it is...
