It was way too much super speed back in the day. Also anet went out of its way to remove all added effect on combos (i hate they did that on so many levels). So i do not see that coming back any time soon. My fear is they are going to remove combos over all there always hope that there going to be an elite spec made for combos. This is why i started playing gw2 and why i feel about the game the way i do now.

 

What about making the current super speed on a lower duration say 2 sec on wells but give 2 sec of super speed at the start of the well and 2 sec at the end of the well pve only.

i proposed it will do Quickness insted of superspeed

 

so you blast in any field-> 2s Quickness 

 

About your idea, yep it wuld work even if thay put it on usage insted of pulse, as it will cut of 2-3s from cd in evry gyro

They realty removed added effect from combos so that is a non starter for sure.

 

But i guess you could make wells give quinkess as a trate vs a super speed well. That is a fair traid off.
