This can mostly happen when playing staff mirage. If a new clone is spawned, and the player uses many ambushes inarow with Infinite horizon to share them with the clone, while making sure the clone does not hit any target by canceling the previous ambush with a new one, the clone will end up despawning 4 seconds later.
