Painting Guild Wars Landscape on my bedroom walls

So, I was going to paint my bedroom in just one colour, but then it clicked.
Since I can't play Guild Wars at the moment due to not having a computer, I'm going to entertain myself drawing/Painting Guild Wars Landscapes instead of just one colour.
So far I only drew a tree that you can find in one of the Grothmar Valley paintings.
Posted it on twitter.
This is what I've got so far.
Just pencil drew the tree and some red leaves.
I am going to mix and match scenery from Guild Wars world, so suggestions please, and what do you think of it so far?
I have to buy colours, but am undicided if to go for acrilic, watercolours, or a bit of everything.
Your thoughts?

I'd use enamels, so you can wipe/wash it, if need be.
