Oldirtbeard.9834 Posted February 23, 2018 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Prior to Heart of Thorns I was a noob that ran Hammer PVT gear and died all the time, now after putting my Edge Lord Reaper away I'm finally understanding what makes a Guardian awesome.I believe the flavor the class is based around offering up support, while killing everything while they burn them selves with your holy protection so to speak. Basically you can either burst them down with a great sword or pop your whirl then pop great sword 4 which begins a fight of attrition, then swap to Hammer and auto attack while using stand your ground and litany of wrath to reflect their damage back, all the while your holy power traps drag their sorry back sides down the burning depths of the mists!All the while Ronnie James Dio is screaming Holy Diver like your own personal Bard side kick!
