Hi,

Lately I'm having problems with ping spikes from Portugal, mainly in evening prime time. I cant spvp cause I'm suddenly walking alone in the map and the skills are frozen.http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/1481/OEAIZs.png

Here is my internet speed test:http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/8066/rcWhqQ.png

And the results of pingplotter:http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/4741/NP8lgu.png

I have a GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, i5-7600K and windows 10 and I dont have FPS's issues. Additionally, I dont have any problems playing other games (example overwatch).

Can you pls help me undestand if I'm having problems with my internet provider? I cant play GW2!Thank you!

I've been having the same problem.Other online games I play work just fine, while in GW2 I get massive ping.Untill now, using a VPN helped and lowered the ping to the usual values I get but right now even that doesn't work. There are others with this problem, not many. I don't know what causes it but im 90% it's on anet's side, not ours.

Having a very similar problem here in Seattle, WA, USA. Traceroute via the method Anet provides in their "Connectivity Issues" page (shortcut with -diag after the target) shows 100% packet loss in the three hops right before final hop, and 12% packet loss in final hop, which points to Anet definitely having some kind of issue. tracert in cmd.exe shows pretty severe latency, too, although all other sites and things are running fine for me. Just put in a ticket about it, hoping to hear back in the next week or so. :/

I'm in the west of Europe. As of right now, there are log-in server disconnects literally every few minutes for me. All other applications run fine and without connectivity issues, but the GW2 client just keeps imploding with connection errors. :(

Exactly the same issue for me just east of Seattle. Using the -diag option for GW2, I got the following trace:

Hello,I reported the same kind of issues in the post : https://fr-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/3695/lags-intempestifs#latest(Well it's in french, as i live in the SE of france).I contacted technical suppport, with all needed tests and diagnostics, but i still don't have any answer.

I made tracerts too. They seem to reveal some issues to reach game servers.

Maybe we need an answer ?

PS : sry for my english, this is not my natural language !

I am having the same problem as of 3 days ago. After looking deeper into it I found it depends on the map IP I'm on, meaning I can not lag at all in specific instances but lag a lot inside others, for example I couldn't play raids at all but Jahai Bluffs during Shatterer didn't raise ping past 90.

I believe they will claim this is the fault of our providers. While it may not be untrue, it's odd that a lot of providers from different countries now can't properly handle their connection (while everything else works fine and the provider did not change at all). I don't know much about this stuff, so if anyone could enlighten us it would be great.

maxwelgm, i m having the same exact problem :This week, i just could not play on one of the 4 wvw map , while others were playable (but still not completely fine). In pve, latency wasn't the same from one map to another. The last answer to my tickets were "your internet provider is the problem, not ou servers".

I'm having the same issues, also from Brazil, some friends on my guild are experiencing this too, started on monday. My ping was usually ~200 and now I'm playing with an avg of 341 and crazy spikes of 1k~2k. There is also a skill lag which I haven't experienced before, even with 200 ping, we press the skills and they take like 2~3 seconds to execute. The problems seems to disappear late in the night, but during the day it's impossible to raid/fractals and even PvE is frustrating.
