Why does this trait not affect the F1 skill of the Scourge?

Edit: I tried it with greater shade and it seems it gives 1 might per shade. While shroud gives 5 might.

because it works with shroud, which on scourge is the F5 skill. F1 is not a shroud therefore the trait should not respond to it.

Because you enter in desert shroud via F5 not via F1. It's reaper's might, the first spite minor, that grant you the 1 might stack per shade.
