Event timing?

First, thanks for all the help everyone has given. What a great community!

Second, my friends and I are working to get the griffon done. Eggs, check. Hearts, check. Facet bounty... errrr...

But that's not the question. The question I have is: how are we supposed to finish events that never seem to spawn? Luck?

Example 1: Makali Outpost, Second Spear Nayrim. She shows up during the "siege of the outpost" event, but then wanders off saying she's going to gather her equipment and then never shows up again. My friends and I have spent time waiting there for weeks, and finally spent a solid hour 15 mins waiting for her last night -- no show.

Example 2: Deadhouse, Warden Jabari. It's not a nice place to spend time waiting, but we camped it for 45 minutes last week, and nothing.

Is there some condition the game's expecting, like 15 players all in a specific area before these things fire?

1.Second Spear Nayrim spawns after Makali Outpost successful defense, she spawns in Makali Outpost, you need to escort her or she will die on the way home.Now the griffon ewent is the second part, when you need to defend Nayrim.

Nayrim did show up after the defense. But then she said something about gathering her things, then walked into the house right next to the Heart vendor and didn't show up again. Maybe we did something wrong by following her back to her house and expecting her to come out again.

Couldn't find Erran when we went looking for him, but we might have been in the wrong spot before parking ourselves to wait. We'll give it another go.

The time for the delay is apparently not static. I have seen her come back out after 5-20 minutes.
