No Lasers! achievement (Solid Ocean Fractal) question

Does the No Lasers! achievement (in Fractal "Solid Ocean"), if you fail, require a simple reset, or do you have to go back to the observatory?

what episode are we talking about?general rule tho you usualy need to restart the whole instance.

You can't "reset" the instance, so yes, you have to return to the observatory.

all die = reset to checkpoint. That's what I mean. There used to be a page on the wiki for that achievement, and I'm pretty sure it said you didn't have to exit the instance; just reset. ("Reset" may not be the right term, but that's what most call it.)

If you all die, you are not resetting the instance. You are returning to the updated spawn location. The Maw, for example, doesn't always regain its health.

I believe it's possible to workaround the issue if individuals /gg before getting hit by the laser (e.g. if you're out of dodges and have no crystal when the "death's head" appears). And I believe (without any recent confirmation) that the party can /gg and still progress the achievement as long as no one has yet gotten hit. Another strategy I've used for people having trouble gaining the achievement is for folks to wait at the original spawn and let the veterans handle the maw.
