Maniacal Persistence (pve)

How do you make the best use of this trait?I have tried to mix it with Embrace the Darkness and Demonic Defiance.But unless I have Charged Mist, I can't properly use my demon skills, too costly. In my current tests, I am using my heal skill just to trigger it. But then, I can't use my weapon skills along with demon skills without blowing my energy in 3 seconds.

Would it be wised to trigger Embrace on/off regularly (leading to some issues too)?

I tend to switch to Diabolic Inferno because of this difficulty

It's honestly badly designed with how they reworked the skills (Or always a bad trait tbh.), you're better off with DI or PP, because EtD more cost effective as the bonus torment only require energy skills, the burning adds up along as each % means 1 torment stack passively instead of whatever demon skill to use.

Run Diabloc Inferno when you have no other source of resistance in your group.If you have one other Condi Renegade or a Boonthief you run Manical Persistence.

DO NOT turn of EtD, except if you have to deal with mechanics. The skill is just way too strong.

Thanks, it saddens me because I like the concept of this trait but in solo situation, it seems to be hopeless.
