Rifts, while boring, are an excellent source of xp if you’ve already completed the zone achievements for masteries. Why do an escort that takes 10 minutes when you can get just as much xp in 3 with a rift?

When you select the appropriate story part (when you talk to mabon) the achievement becomes available. Beware, if you fill the essence bar that’s optional to progress the story the achievement availability disappears. I was pretty much given no option but to be somewhat lazy and collect less essence during the meta to keep this bar from filling and removing the chance for achievement. Maybe someone else has a different experience, but this worked for me.

The last two days of pve dailies took like 10m total to accomplish. Whether you have 3h a week to play or 30h, it’s insignificant. You can also buy 1g for 6 astral acclaim 90 times over the next 75 days, so there’s your missing 1g. Once you’ve done that you can spend what looks like an unlimited amount of aa on a 30aa bag that gives 1g. Since you get 65aa a day if you do the dailies you end up with 4875aa over a 75 day period. If gold is all you wanted you could make 234g just from buying gold bags, and that’s just from the dailies, not including aa from weeklies or special categories. This new system gives choices and loads of currency to buy with. Anyone complaining about it is either against any change for no legitimate reason or has 30 alt accounts that they don’t want to play and just log into for rewards. Which btw you still can do for 5aa a day which is enough for 62 mythic coins a cycle.

What this guy wants is in another game, it’s called “Ahead of the curve”. You get an achievement in wow for beating a raid before the standard nerfing of it like 6 months down the road. No, we do not need this kind of thing in Guild Wars, you have your turtle and you know you did it the harder way, that should be enough. There are many other difficult titles you can earn that will garner the respect you are so desperate to attain, I suggest getting one of those.
