Still bugged...

I don't really mind that they drop mac support (not that they had a good mac support anyway, I needed it last year and on the one-each-two-days replies I managed to get I even was told to run a windows app to check the performance of my computer, which was kind of wtf?), but at least I wish they would let us continue running the old client and playing with old computers. Now I have the feeling I have only one month to either manage how to install a windows emulator of find another equally complicated solution. Or stop playing my favourite game ever. Which, by the way, was my favourite because I COULD play it on my mac.

Since I opened a ticket and got no reply (except for asking about my Windows system specifications, and then apologizing for the mistake and asking again for my MacOs system specifications... and then silence)... and I see there's more people here who can't launch the game either, I'm copy-pasting the error I get each time I try to play and hoping there's someone out there who can help. I have tried to uninstall the game completely, installing it from zero, re-installing my OS... I have been playing for more than 6 years (almost since the beginning) in this same iMac and I have NEVER had this kind of problem. Sure my computer is old. But it would be nice to know if the problem can be solved before I am forced to buy a new one JUST because of one game (considering the rest of apps I run on it work perfectly). I opened a ticket last wednesday after my launcher was unable to install the latest update issued on tuesday. While opening the ticket I made sure to tick the box which said I was running my Guild Wars 2 game in an Apple Macintosh computer and I enclosed as requested the System Information Report file and the crashing log the launcher gave me. I got a reply more than 24 hours after... requesting the same file for Windows, using the dxdiag command!!! I sent again all the information, explained on the body of the message I was running GW2 on Macintosh, NOT on windows and re-sent the System Information Report again. And since then... no reply. I have the stupid feeling nobody checked that my message was a MacOs problem and I even wonder if there is anyone checking macOs tickets anymore. Should I give up hope on playing my favourite game? I have been playing dayly for years and unfortunately I don't think it makes sense to purchase a Windows computer just to continue playing it (besides, my husband also plays on Macintosh and he has had absolutely no problem with the new update). I really feel left down with all this. Is it possible to get help anywhere?

Hello! I'm not sure if these have been suggested yet, but there are a couple of things I think could improve our inventory space. 1) I don't know about you people, but my space is overwhelmed by beautiful skins I don't plan to use anytime soon, but I don't want to destroy even if the design has been unlocked in my wardrobe. Sure I could use them and then get back to my previous look but that would be a waste of transmutation charges. So I wonder, why not make them salvageable to get transmutation charges in exchange? That way you can get rid of them but since the design is already in the wardrobe you can use them back whenever you want. 2) I'm sure this has already been said but here's another vote. WE NEED A LIBRARY. I'm not sure how to implement it, maybe at Sun's refuge, maybe at our home instance, maybe just another tab at the toys and emotes window... but I have been collecting lots of books of Lore and so far I have a librarian mule carrying them all (yeah I call her the Librarian) and she's already running out of space. 3) Finally, this is more a request than a suggestion... there are some pieces of armor which are not salvageable, but we can't either put them on the mystic forge nor even sell them to merchants... Nothing. I really fell bad destroying them, and I would like to do anything... it don't mind what, but not having them hanging around in my inventory. That includes the orders armor (which is yellow, so quite useless as soon as your character reaches a high level) and most of the backpacks.
