  1. Games like Archeage and WoW made me hate the concept of dailies. They were fine if it were to unlock some side cosmetic, and once you got it, you didn't have to do anymore. Or if the dailies were just a bit of side gold, I'd not mind it at all. But when it becomes FOMO bait, that's when I have my complaints. At least the WV store puts old stuff available to buy. The rewards half is great, the execution became crap. They took something that worked, and made it more frustrating to do, just to continue getting the same rewards but yes also more rewards.
  2. I get that, but the problem is everyone gets different dailies, so they're just shuffling players around instead of getting them together. How about an augment to my previous suggestion. Perhaps the progress is slowed by 50% except for "hot spots" to encourage players to adventure in specific zones, while allowing players to still make some progress if that particular zone is undesirable. While things like WvW and sPvP wouldn't need a hotspot. 2-4 zones, or a general area like "Cantha/Maguma/etc"

Is it that bad to simply ask for more options? while keeping the cap on AA the same? either open all modes up, or let you choose after logging in, not the day or week or however long it was you last logged in, because you stopped playing for awhile? This is why I suggest a simple bar, that fills. every 25% is 10 AA, automatically deposited, fill it up and the little jiggly chest appears on the right, boom done Login should also give the jiggly chest. the WV interface can be laggy at times, would rather just have the chest like everything else, simple and easy. same for weeklies, that as it fills up, only every 20% get 80 AA, plus bonus reward chest at 80% (or just make it 100%, that'd be fine compromise for the added freedom.)
  4. More that AA is perhaps too good a reward that not getting it on top of the generic loot, that I have to go out of my way to get, feels detrimental.. Where as before, I didn't have to worry about it, because the main reward was simply some gold and 10 achievement points. Which was simple enough, nice to get, didn't feel I needed to go out of my way for, but even then I had a wide variety I could choose to do, instead of having to decide the day before what I wanted to do.
  5. The reward system is nice, though I do miss my loyalty chests. Now, to get the gold increase I have to actively spend precious tokens instead of just get over time. But the main problem I have, is the dailies and weeklies. I already hate dailies and weeklies. I didn't mind GW2's because I felt I didn't have to do them if I didn't want to, just a nice bonus. Here I am now, in order to get some of the rewards I once could get just by logging in, I now have to do things I don't care to do. On top of that, I can't just be like "eh, I feel like PvP today," or "I feel like WvW today." I have to plan that ahead and my brain don't work like that. Sometimes I'd do PvP so I can make a little more progress towards getting the phoenix rank, while getting the dailies out of the way. Two birds one stone. My suggestion to fix this, is just have it be a simple bar. Fill the bar by doing various activities each day. Events, World Bosses, capture a Tower, Keep, or win a match in PvP. each activity would reward a portion to the bar, each would give varied amounts of progress, once filled that counts towards Daily and eventually weekly. Perhaps limit how much one could do a single thing. like no more than 5 events (which only fills the daily bar 50%D 30%W) easier tasks should give less progress and have a lower max progress cap. No freebies like spend 50 Badges Basically: Just play the game, however you feel like playing, get rewarded. WV dailies feels it goes against what GW2 had been laying out for the last 11 years, in open ended gameplay. I want a game where I can just go and have an adventure, but when each of my friends have wildly different objectives now, it tears us apart, and I hate it.
  6. They just need to have the same dailies as before, but only give AA for the first 3(4) you do (four if you count login) no need to choose, aside from simply filtering . Same applies for weeklies. I hate feeling limited that I have to do these specific things, would rather just simply play the game. I may want WvW one day, but I have to decide what I want to do the next, I might not feel like WvW the next day. I'm not one for the concept of dailies, but at least as long as it doesn't feel like it's in the way, I don't mind. Honestly, if anything just change it to simply gaining XP and/or Ranking 3 points worth of each (pvp, wvw, pve) (you can get any combination) that way it's something that can be from doing nearly any activity, so you're not bound to specifics, while still incentivizing the play of the game how you want.
  7. I get it, that yes a staff can look like a spear, but it doens't function like one. Even the Daredevil... A spear and a bo-staff function differently. Spear can do some things a staff can, but it's more meant for stabbing. But the main issue I have is... almost all the classes, with exception of Dare devil... use the staff in magical ways, not in physical ways. It would be vastly different, and as for skins, they already exist! At most, they would need to add a few more, but can do that over time; add new animations, yes, for each race and class; and skill rebalance. There are some classes out there, that only have 2 weapon sets for things like a Condition build, and they occupy both weapon set slots, leaving only one way to play that build, or vice versa where there's only 2 weapon sets that are power based. It'd give more customization to characters. Underwater is underutilized. It's at least interesting, but not practical. Hardly anyone likes to do battles underwater (though I think part of it is the lack of customization. Condition build? Gotta use one weapon, and the other is lackluster, etc.) I would love to see both spear and trident be added to land combat, could even be as one weapon together "Polearm" that uses both sets of skins. If unlocked for underwater, can be used on land version. Easily having a bit more reach that a sword or mace.
  8. Also... It's a digital item... there shouldn't be a limit on supplies... it's code. it takes nothing but a more randomly generated codes to make.

Yea, I'm guessing the dragon shirt outfit is already out, because I've made 3 accounts for it (which... alone is bad that I even have to do that)Bad on Arenanet, and bad on Alienware (for having a faulty website, and thier giveaways are just lame)Stop giving eggs, they are worthless, use a better partner, and make it so if supplies are out, then it's noted that they're out!

  11. I too am not seeing this code in My rewards, only some Dell thing I got from doing those "quests"I just made my account, I'm in the US (I managed to get the egg at least, and the 3 silver it was worth)However... no dragon outfit.
