I'm having the same issue. Whether I try to login or click the X to close the app, it freezes and I have to right click it on the task bar to close it. I can't play the game.

Those temps look pretty high, probably need to reapply thermal paste correctly.

Same. Someone a few pages back was saying we have an axe to grind against SAB-- I just want my game to go back to normal, and I really hope with SAB ending tomorrow, that the bug goes with it too because if that doesn't happen, then we're still stuck with it for who knows how much longer. At least if it disappears with SAB then the bug will be narrowed down, right? I switch characters ALOT, whether due to alt parking, farming, comp adjustments for fractals and strikes, etc., but that's been on hold the last few weeks.

UPDATE: after deleting my Local.dat again, I have to concur with Bombsalot now. I was able to go through 30 toons so far and they all loaded up fine now, no hang-ups. The main character screen still takes awhile to load, but the characters across the bottom load up much quicker now, and I can even load up the game without waiting for the images to load, so I just sped through the first 30 quickly and everything looks to be working good so far. So yeah, big thanks to that engineer! EDIT: Should've kept going haha, 34th character and it hung up again with graphic glitches. Still a big improvement for me from yesterday though.

Doesn't seem to be fixed for me, but I was able to get through 4 toons before the problem happened again, so it's a little improvement over the usual 1 and done for me. Although yesterday was the worst it was for me because it was happening multiple times just from launching the game (it would take me 3-4 launches before I could log-in successfully on my first character). Glad it's working for you though.

I used to be in that camp for years until I started taking the CS50x course. Then I realized how frustrating doing this for a living could be, so I do feel for engineers that have to find the needle in a haystack. Now my tune has changed to try and only supply the problems as accurately as I can and try to replicate the issue and be as helpful as I can to hopefully help narrow down cause.

Yeah we got a response a few days ago about it. It's earlier in the thread.

I ended up purposely testing this last week on 4 alt accounts with 5 characters each, all non-EoD (I typically use 1-2 characters on each alt otherwise, haven't got around to parking my extra chars). So switching between them multiple times worked fine, they loaded up normally on all 4 alt accounts, so I couldn't replicate the issue on these accounts. On my main account I tried using the suggestion of waiting for everything to load up first. Sometimes it works, most times not, but as long as I'm successfully loaded on one character though I can play the game fine, I just can't do my daily gold farming routine with my main's alts.

Got another response saying they're aware of the issue now and are working on a fix.

I wonder this too due to some of the posters. My alt accounts only have 4-5 characters.

Well I went through a whole thing with Support. They had me download and run HiJackThis! first, went through all of their directions, responded back with the uploaded log information. Next response I was to provide some more client side information and to download another tool called WinMTR and to run that for awhile with the game running. So I followed all of their directions again and did everything I was suppose to. Uploaded file to them. The response this time is telling me that my issue is caused by high latency according to all the logged information I sent them, and to contact my ISP to have them work out my issues here. Now I'm really confused. I have multiple alt accounts, with only HoT and PoF expansions, and all of them are running fine, I can switch characters fine, SSD loads them up quick. My main account is the one with this issue. It has all expansions, 54 characters, and yesterday was the first time I've ever experienced such a noticeable load-in time, with graphical errors and missing inventory and skills bar and other weird actions, all from switching characters. I happen to notice my main account is also eating up my RAM when this is happening. I don't understand how internet latency could affect this, let alone affect my main account and not my alt accounts, all ran on the same computer. Something's going on with my main account with all expansions due to the SAB patch, because it's the only account eating up all of my RAM. I have 8GB of RAM btw. Does anybody else agree with their assessment and can shed more info on this?

Confirming this as well. First load or two seems fine but after that, load times are increased up to a minute or longer, missing textures and can't see my inventory items except the corresponding rarity squares of the items. I thought maybe I was having a hardware issue but my ram and everything is normal. Edit: Deleting local.dat didn't fix the issue either, switching characters results in same issues, missing inventory, missing skill bar, etc., even got stuck in the floor in Rata Sum on load-in.
