Trying to copy and paste build template from metabattle. It works for all my chars except revenant. Is there something I'm not doing right or is it a bug?

I checked all that. Nada. I can only surmise that I had a brain fart and just thought that the tassets already had one when it didn't. Since it didn't ask me if I wanted to replace. I know I did have a whole set at one time now I don't. So maybe I trashed a piece with that darn rune on it. I can be an idiot.

OK so I started a ticket and they said I equipped it on a piece that I think already had one. So it was just me being stupid and not watching what I was doing. That's a ~4g lesson for me.

I'm in the process of switching over from exotic to ascended gear and I'm salvaging the runes from the old armor to put on the new.I salvaged a superior rune from my old piece and I saw it in my inventory. I was trying to put it on my new piece and I think I double clicked on it. What happened to it?I thought I might have put it in the bank but it's not there. So what happens to runes if you double click on them? I thought it would ask where you want to use it. But it didn't. I was just gone.I would just chalk it up to me being a spaz and losing it but it's too expensive to just let it go without figuring out where it went.

Thanks so much. That gives me something to shoot for. Is that a hard role to learn? I think I am what they call a face roll player. LOL. I have little to no clue what all the skills do I just push buttons and dodge until they are dead. My first char was an elementalist so I learned how to dodge real fast. LOL. I know, I know. Everyone hates me. But I really don't have a whole lot of time to devote to studying skills, rotations, boons etc. I just want to be good enough that I can do low fractals enough to get the stuff I need for my collections.

I recently rolled a revenant and am enjoying playing it. I don't know much(anything) about builds. I've looked a Metabattle and it's all so confusing (What is a herald/dps/condi/whatever anyway?) and I can't get the ascended gear they recommend yet. So in very simple terms what gear can I buy at TP or craft ( I have all crafts leveled) to make a viable renegade? And which elite should I should be training? I'm at the point where I have to choose one. I play all pve right now but want to start fractals because I'm working on Mawdry and I've done everything up to stuff you can only get in fractals. I think I figured out what it was. I had to choose a stance (F1). When I selected a new one the skills were back. I don't know what happened but that seemed to fix it.

What's going on with my new revenant? Is this normal? I have a sword and axe equipped in first set and a staff in second set. For either weapon I only have the skill in slot 1 avaialble. The others have a lightening bolt over them. I have no healing or utility skills available at all. When I click to change skills it pops up but is blank. Is my rev broken?

I'm getting the "Final Countdown" effect a LOT recently. Today in the Citadel just running around doing map completion on a new toon. It's a real bummer that we have to spend gems to make something work that should work already.

Have a real life so can't commit to hard and fast schedule but would like to find people that play weekdays between 9am-4 pm EST.For achievements, beginner fractal training, maybe some WvW training.NA Darkhaven.Not interested in hardcore play or pressure. Not very good but I like playing when I can.

Can you suggest one? I have tried a few but they are not very active.

I loved leveling up. I did it completely solo except for one part in Icebrood. I want more stuff I can do alone. I've thought about crafting but don't know what I should go for. I thought about fractals and strike missions but that is dependent on other people. I've got other chars I can level up but it's kind of boring since I already know the story. I like collecting. So what collections should I be going for? I have griffon. Should I go for Skyscale? What is fun for a solo player after the story?

Arrrrgh! :#I was soloing it again and after OVER AN HOUR, I got the forge guy down to about 55%... then my internet crapped out. I was very calm. My keyboard only lost a few keys. Easily replaceable.I feel like a failure but I am going to have to ask for help. Not today. Probably not for a while. I have to go play some Peggle to get back to my happy place.

Very helpful. It just took so long the first time to even get to him, but now that I know what I'm doing maybe it'll go faster.

I've done everything solo up until now. I'm at the scrying pool with Aurene and have the choice of Steel & Fire public or group. There's never anyone else there. I played through it once solo until the very end and could never get the forgeman below 85. Is it possible to do this solo or do I have to wait around for a group? I don't really like being forced to have a group to continue with the story.

I am a very casual player have always played solo. I figure I would just slow down other players. But recently was invited to a group and accepted, then lost the other members. I don't know where they went. I asked in chat and it was to a waypoint that I don't have unlocked so I just left the group. Is chatting the only way of finding out where your group members went? Is there some way of tracking them on the map?

This is probably very obvious but I can't find out how to do it. I have trained soulbeast so that means I am able to meld with my pet right? But how do I do that? LOL!

I'm about to rage quit GW2 forever just because of HoT. I'm on the one where you have to find the marks left by Rox and I can't find the 3rd one to save my life. Literally. I die every time. Where is the darn thing? I've even watched videos and can't follow them. My map just doesn't look like theirs. I've asked in game and so far no one has come to help. I've been trying this for 4 days now (play about 1-2 hrs. per day). I seriously just want to be done with HoT.

OK thanks. But is there any way I can check to see if I logged in during that time? I assume I didn't since they're locked but it's really weird that I wouldn't have since episode 1 is unlocked and I'm pretty sure I didn't go 6 months without logging in at all.

When did episode 2 and 3 go live? I can't believe I didn't log in the whole time they were up. Is there any way I can check?
