There are white gear vendors in the wizards tower.

A player in game put it perfectly in my opinion. When 24 slot bags were added they said "Wow, 24 slots. Wish there was stuff worth picking up to put in them..".

I guess I'm too old school. The arcade type mechanics on metas like on Amnytas, I mean I expect a dance off to happen after the simon says with clicking colors etc.. What ever happened to knowing your class, having a desired build, you know FIGHTING, tank and spank, the trinity DPS/Heals/Tank. Oh those were the days. Todays gamers have no idea. They would spt their pacifiers if they had to face a 5 hour dungeon. The storytelling in GW is great, the mechanics.. cringe. The goal in GW seems to be who has the biggest bank account. But that is the way of the world. Anet just change the name to GreedWars.

I know gamers are rarely happy with loot, but SOTO.. well I finished the story and pretty lackluster rewards. I do better at AB Vine meta. Is there something I am missing or not doing? My main is full ascended I don't die all the time and seem to do decent numbers of damage. So spare me the git guud nonsense lol So educate and old man. What is going on with the rewards in this gorgeous new world we are trying to enjoy? Did the bulk of the R&D go for design and the cost of new rewards simply wasn't in the budget? We could have bake sales to help raise the quality of the rewards..

Just to purchase the "Skyscale of Water" egg will cost approx 240g in mats if not available in your materials storage. There are 12 different eggs. Are they drops also?

What about all the mats needed for each egg to infuse? With so many going to buy them to speed it up the prices will soar? Can players still choose the War Eternal way?

Glad I already have a skyscale, the new system does not seem easier...?

And it will take forever to get parts from the Rift.

Will I end up with 2 Skyscale? One for daily flying one for weekends?

I am stuck at 1878 units, I fly and "eat" one and the exp points show but no increase to my total?

I have everything and it says no gold fire pit. Same as the Griffon Rentals for the GH.

Obligatory creds: played GW1 all the expansions, 9 characters through. Played GW2 since open beta, all the exp's. With that out of the way, the new area is gorgeous. Your best work yet. The story (so far) is engaging, and I am loving just wandering around. Proof, 100% map comp last night. I had to see it all. Working on missed mastery points now. Powering the Starlight Lanterns is a treat. The entire area has a real sense of magic. I really feel like Tyria is left behind me, and new adventures await. Oh btw, if rooms open up in the Southern Wizard's Tower, call me I want to live there. So beautiful. Ok, I know some are upset, I am not overlooking their concerns, best of luck to you all and hope you can sort them out. As for me, I turn 65 in October. And life finds me bedridden for now. Guild Wars is my way of being around like minded people in a truly magical world. Thank you to Anet for giving me that ability, and again, gorgeous job on SOTO. Peace and God Bless you all 🙂
