They should starting by REMOVING THE ANNOYING CHATTING ''FIRED UP, READY RO ROCK ETC ETC'' EVERY TIME WE MOUNT/DISMOUNT and when the F's are charged. Seriously i stopped playing my tempest and went to weaver because of that =/.

PS: Yes I do know we can turn off the chatting but I like hearing, so I suggest Anet TURN OFF this kind of chatting. The customization on this game is good but there are a looooooooooooooong way to go and many things to be done specially on system(options), craft and game play.

  3. Thanks for the feedbacks but I already decided stay on Exo and since I dont do fracs they are more than enough for PVE content. While ascend take around 100G ONE piece, you get full exotic including trinkets with 100G.

If ascend gears were ''that easy'' me and many other players would be full ascend already, the only ascends i have are only trinkets(bought from vendor w/ laureus and 2-3 earned from wvw). I spent around 300G on craft ascend for nothing, just wasted the cash and so far 0, nada, nothing crafted. Seriously this game craft system and end gear(ascend/legendary) are kinda outdated, in my opinion they should make it easier specially for new players.

The world has changed they need to update the craft system asap,
    AT LEAST
adding new items on crafting. There are a lot of items to craft legend/ascend the players don't need/use who could be sold to help other player to craft his item or help them to make gold selling what they dont need.

Read better what I write.I've specifically speak about trinket : bag + 2 ring + 2 earring + 1 necklace. Those, are VERY easy and fast to get, especially with multiple char (but not required)All S3 map give you access to special map currency and seller from the map have some of these trinket.

I've NEVER speak about FULL ascended, I've said, you can have the good exo stat for armor easily with the 1st map of HoT.

Weapon are a bit more tricky but you can get them by reforging cadalbog (start at the end of the HoT MQ with a mail)And if you're lucky Teqalt can drop some too (rare drop, very rng)

That said, for craft I agree it's a mess, I played since 1 month with a friend and took you a bit to be motivate enough to start learning about craft. But once you start to read guide, and there are a lot of them if you're not lazy, then you saw that it's just boring but not hard. With 300G you should be full ascended, if you don't have look on internet or ask other player before making mistake, it's on you.

Take your time, find guide, ask people and everything is going to be fine.

I never said you said that ''ascend are easy'', I just said that if ascend were that easy then lot of players would be full ascend already, you misunderstod thats all and moreover what is ''easy'' for you may not be easy for the others capice?. There are people who says that getting griffon is ''easy'' and take only 2-3 days to finish and scale is also easy and take only 4 days to finish :).

The chest is the only piece you can't purchase from the vendor, but it has a chance to drop from Verdant Brink bosses at the end of the night cycle and if your map manages a T4 win you receive an armor box guaranteed.

This is a cheap/easy way to get whatever stats you like on your armor without the expense of crafting!

Oh thanks, I thought that armor were fixed stats good knowing that. I'll check this out later.

And New Haircuts It is a really nice idea... but I doubt anet gonna do that... in fact the customization here is good but there are lot of 'missing' things to be added. Specially when it's about Graphic and Skill Customization, there is just SO MANY keys that you feel like playing a piano and you wish to have 4 arms to customize properly.

  7. @Adonai.5071 said:Its more of a Note to devs:

(returning player.) why gift of battle needed for legendaries now only obtainable through reward track? if i hate wvw mode don't force me to play it. this will NOT help make me like wvw at all. it will just suck few days of disgusted playing time and contempt towards the game. Also, if anything it will make me forget about ever creating a new legendary again.

Anet isnt 'forcing' anyone to play their game content you play if u want, but good stuff requires sacrifices whether you like it or not. I HATE Hot map and I was 'forced' to play to get my mistward set, in fact I was ''forced'' to play both expansion maps on laggy cuz I wanted griffon and the mistward set, played both maps on a horrible video card gt 420, i3 4160(upgraded the video card but processor still the same unfortunally).

So you have two options, play their content and get what you want or not play and not get what u want, simple as that. I lost around 300G on craft on leatherwork and weaponsmith from 0-500 to get ascend and so far I dont have one single piece of ascend huh, except the trinkets I bought with laureus, I just gave up trying to craft ascend cuz is kitten HARD and some items cannot be bought from market so I decided stay on exotic, i always HATED craft here and nobody 'forced' me to mess with craft I did it cuz I wanted, lost my gold lesson learned no more crafting.

GW2 crafting system is FAIL in my opinion cuz we cant buy everything we need, some items must be farmed and those may take weeks even months, they should add to new craft items to make the crafting easier and more accessible for new players who want high end gears, but instead they make it too difficult and discourage players =/.

Even the 50s are rip offs, but they are the only choice if you have a stock prebuild power supply as they mostly do not need external power. All AMD cards in the same price range use a lot more power and need a stronger power supply. That's why they are cheaper. If you must be cheap, get one of these
You will not be disappointed. Pick one that does not require external power. Here's a comparison
It's only 800% faster than what you are currently using. More then enough to max GW2 on GPU settings.

I have a 1030, the passive one. And i can play at High settings in 2560x1080. The only lag i ever experienced was network lag. But this is with a i5 9600, 32GB of ram, and a ssd. I think at this point, any dedicated GPU of the current generation is powerfull enough that only the CPU can be the bottleneck for GW2

We can run at high-ultra even with a gtx 750 ti that is the one i'm currently using, but.. can run is different of can PLAY. By 'can play' I mean on 60 FPS(sometimes around 55) but at lions arch and towns drops to 30-40. The only limitation in my case is the processor cuz i3 isnt games processor so my currently settings with reshare has to be this http://www.imagebam.com/image/a3e9ad1344686621 IF i want to run the game on 60 FPS full HD. I can run all at Ultra but that will get me 30-50 FPS, plus I have only 8gb ram not because i want but because the other memory slot is burned xD.

GW2 is more about processor than graphic card, so any decent card will do good in this game. Compared to my old 420 gt and monitor that was replaced by a new one AOC 24° sniper the results now are satisfatory. My other monitor was 720p, this new is full HD 1ms, just by changing the monitor the difference was HUGE lol. Soon i'll get a i5 4690k and the game experience shall be eeeven more satisfatory.

  9. @aspirine.6852 said:GL with waiting on the release of lost ark :D 2022 perhaps? You better have some kitten good patience for that to happen.

Who knows hehe, until there there are a couple more games to play like borderlands 3, I may even back to LOL and some others too. I just need to upgrade my CPU cuz when u have one i3 4160, 8gb ram(cannot upgrade to 16 cuz the other memory slot is burned) and gtx 750 ti there is no many options =/... and since the craft system for the lost ark isnt kitten complicated as this gw 2 I'm ok.

They update skills, items, etc etc and forget about updating this craft system to make simplier specially for new players. If anet would open sale for some items including those ones for ascend and legend crafting, just by doing that would be of GREAT help, I bet lot of players have tons of those and dont use(like me) and this it frustrating cuz you cannot use and cannot sell.

  10. @"Cyninja.2954" said:First off, use gw2crafts.net for leveling crafting professions. Given current prices, using the fast option, it should not have cost you more than 100 gold from 0-500. (https://gw2crafts.net/)

Second, medium armor crafting is the correct professions for any medium armor set. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Svaard%27s_armorIn this case the correct recipe per item would be:

    • armor type item 1 ( Elonian Helmet Padding in case of Helm for example)
    • armor type item 2 (Elonian Helmet Strap in case of Helm for example)
    • Insignia (in this case the Svaard's Marauder Insignia)
    • Lesser Vision Crystal (regular Vision Crystal in case of Chestpiece)

The Svaard's Marauder Insignia (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Svaard%27s_Marauder_Insignia) has to be learned separately once from a recipe (Recipe: Svaard's Marauder Insignia) sold at just about any crafting vendor (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Recipe:_Ascended_Insignia).

Finally, if you don't mind me giving you some friendly advice: you seem rather inexperienced with crafting. Inexperienced enough that I would recommend you get exotic (or ascended) berserker gear instead of ascended marauder gear. Get marauder stats on trinkets and maybe weapons. Ascended armor is really only needed for T4 fractals, where berserker gear will serve you far better. The difference is 200 vitality total on armor, while trinkets will yield 300+ vitality and weapons 120 vitality.

Thanks but like I said no more crafting here, I though we could simply buy all the items from npcs or market like we usually do on 0-400 but some items are only taken by crafting, discovering whatever, you try to view the recipe for the others and it opens another and another window and all items there cannot be bought =/, its frustrating! I thought the hardest part were only upgrade craft to 500 but once u get there u think ''nice NOW I can craft my ascend'' but then you find out its EVEN HARDER! is like WTF! I never liked craft here in gw cuz the system is horrible, SUX in my opinion but I tried even so and I was right its all a waste. Anet forgive me but ur craft system is GG, you guys should update and make it simplier that is my opinion.

I'll just back for my daily farming while waiting for my lost ark be released in US then quit GW 2.

    @ancafr.9274 said:Need suggestion on which motherboard is compatible(good) for i5 4690k I should buy?

It depends on what kind of chipset (how late those mainboard came out as some older chipset only needed a BIOS/UEFI update to recognise that version of CPU).

The high end version of chipset that can be used are named Z87 or Z97 main boards. In the low end B85 and mid range H87. You can see from the list I linked those names and you should try look up producers documentation from their Support site where often can find PDF to download and see also which version of BIOS that where supporting i5 4690K. I5 4670K, which I have myself with a Z87 mainboard, is the generation before so they a technically the same for some small change in speed on CPU core.

With 4690K I would concentrate to buy a Z97 as it is the last version of that chipset that came out around the same time as 4690K.

As for the difference between Z87/Z97 vs H81/87 and B85 (where B indicate designed to be cheaper for business, meaning less features and for more large scale mass production compared to the more gaming type Z87/Z97 chipset where there where more option to control your CPU from BIOS/UEFI and other features like more options for network card, better tool for control of air cooling etc.).

What you need to make sure is also that your mainboard have all the connection you need. Some mainboard cut down on price through removing support of integrated GPU (which is onboard your CPU) or have very tight space for a discrete video card (business type mainboards). You would be best off with a mainboard that can support iGPU when needed (meaning that there is HDMI or DVI ports). This is useful even if you use a discrete video card as a fail safe, when video card would not be working correctly.

Here is a link to my mainboard to show you what to look for independent of mainboard.

Look at Rear Panel I/O section and you will see that external ports that this mainboard had support for. (There is also a picture where you can see the backside that is Rear Panel I/O).

Don't pay an over price to replace your old mainboard with this CPU. If it is cheaper just to buy a newer version of CPU/RAM and mainboard package then replace it.

One second thought it is better if I save and upgrade my CPU from i5 4690k ddr3 to ryzen 5 1600 ddr4, I also considered change to i5 6th gen but the ryzen 5 1600 is still better and cheaper I guess. Ty for the help.Don't do that! This would only be a useless sidegrade. Zen1 (Ryzen 1600) has the same IPC like Haswell (your i5 4590K). You won't get any better performance with that CPU.

At best your frametimes will be a tad better (this means the game will stutter a bit less) as you have more cores. But the game is still limited by its mainthread which needs IPC and clock speed. So your average fps won't improve.

If you buy a Ryzen then buy a Zen2 (the 3000 desktop series) which can keep up with the modern Intels (Skylake and Coffee Lake). The 3600 is the budget option and if you want to be prepared for the future, the 3700X will be able to handle next gen (PS5, XBox Series X) console ports as well.

They are better yes, but the thing is I CANNOT afford on a processor better right now cuz I need to buy the other components like memory ram, video card and motherboard and I intend to buy a really good motherboard so later I'll be able to upgrade the processor to a 3600x or R7-9 series. The best option for me now is to start with a low-mid processor but invest a little more on a intermediary-high motherboard and 16gb ram instead only 8gb and later get a better processor and besides I also have others needs beside buying hardware right now.

Not to mention due this corona pandemi the prices now are high as hell =/. And unfortunally I'm from Brazil.
