  1. Thank you for this post. Communication is important, and I think, even with this level of transparency, this is a good step. To those unfamiliar with raids, and saying the barrier of entry is too high due to how the LFG works, I highly suggest checking out https://snowcrows.com/raids/training/It's very easy to get into raiding with only exotics with the proper guidance. The biggest issue right now is people have a hard time finding their way to these resources, or are unwilling to take an extra step (like going through discord) rather than trying to jump into LFG which is mostly looking for experienced clears.> @TGDM.5908 said: I agree with TGDM here. I think improving the overall gear acquisition from Strikes would help people gear up properly would be a good step. Raid loot is crazy good for gearing new characters, so while I dont think Strikes should reward close to that, I think even dropping relevant exotics so that people can raid with it would be good. Like exotics with stat selectable would be sufficient.
  2. The fastest gors this patch has squad DPS of 172k.https://dps.report/VeZb-20191004-211700_gors More towards the current discussion, raid training in its essence focuses on the mechanics of the fights. Whether or not the group meets the dps requirement for the fight or for the kill does not change that fact that they can still learn all of the mechanics in fights where these checks exist. The point of training is to learn the encounter. And people should learn how to do their rotation properly on golem on their own time, not on others times. In Raid Academy, an NA training discord, most people think its reasonable to hit 70-80% of a golem benchmark with some practice. If you dont hit that, you're lacking fundamental understanding of the class, and you should practice and read until you understand it. And by no means is requiring DPS in a raid encounter flawed. That's like expecting "If you did mechanics properly, the boss will kill itself regardless of what buttons you press". Nor is it difficult, as most "meta" builds have been made so incomplex to play in the most recent patches that there's only 2 or 3 specs that actually have a "difficult" to understand rotation.
  3. Awfully limiting, if there's an actual hard cap to how many we can make. Not to mention the actual cost. The reality is that given what we have, some people are losing even more Quality of Life. The game becomes harder to play for Mesmer, Ele, Ranger, and guardians, and in a way that makes them spend time looking at their UI rather than playing the game. My question would be, how are you evaluating these numbers? The post has stated that "each character will have access to .." meaning that purchasing more is likely bound to that individual character, rather than increasing an account wide cap. Which means for those players who had 7 or 8 builds for one character, and play multiple characters, would likely lose something up to 20 or 30 builds in quick access, and have to purchase just as many templates to make up for it? The gem cost for the public that actually uses templates at the moment would need to be like 25 gems for a template or something. That's a ridiculous number.
  4. There were changes, and Ele is fine if you understand how to play and spec.
  5. The rewards are too high. 7 Mystic Clovers, there would need to be some sort of adjustment to end box if it was repeatable.
  6. This event and Ogre Wars meta is broken. I managed to get everything else, but having to wait for a full server reset... Probably not happening until PoF comes out. I could have Predator done by then...
