This is how koda trial icon looks like So in order to complete the achievement you need to actually see the icon on the three spawning locations, killing random patrols wont do you any good unless the trial is there.

Ok, but which kodan events did you do? Where was it? What mobs? Also did you have the issue where you had to fill the progress bar first before finishing the event? There are three spawn spots for that trial, [&BB4MAAA=] [&BCgMAAA=] and [&BDQMAAA=] , you will see the golden icon at one of the three locations when event for that trial spawn, you go there and you kill event mobs that have crossed sword icons above them, what i did is kill 1 by 1 and stomp on them to fill the bar. Few times however there were not enough mobs to fill the progress bar and i could not finish the event to activate the trial and the trial icon was gone after event was over.

Okay so yesterday i finally got this achievement (i tried 8 times overall). You need to kill a mob then stomp on it (like a finisher in pvp) and that will fill your progress bar, when the progress bar is full then you can activate trial and kill the champ, however i did this 8 times i only got the achievement on 8th try, so good luck!

All i am saying is, it would be awesome if we could earn xp in this festival, nothing more nothing less.

I am only saying that they could add xp gain to all wintersday activity, more ppl would do it.

Yeah but you get like few k of xp, i would need few hours to gain a level, i got 6 levels in a hour by doing 1 map to 100%

If they only added xp to activity it would be much better.....at least we could level alts while doing event.

Yeah, i am already bored of it since i am really enjoying my alt atm but i cannot gain xp in this festival :( i mean what is the issue? I do not see any reasons why people could not get xp in this festival but in previous one (Halloween) we could....

So i noticed that wintersday activity does not give any xp....how come? Mad Kings Lab was awesome way to level some alts and get event stuff.....

How viable is rifle warrior?

Hi all, i want to make an alt warrior and i was wondering if warrior can be decent range dps?

I am running deadeye with P/P and full valk gear, but i am thinking of changing into zerk...not sure yet tho.

For open world pve and some low level fractals does it matter what spec i play? I usually like to play with what i find most fun.

Thanks, i will go with griffin, i am not that bothered to collect every mount in game, just want to get a griffin because it makes life easier for my main and my alts. For skyscale i would have to spend 1200 gems for Season 4 Story and as you said additional gold for additional resources and that would be too much of a hassle at least for now, maybe later on i decide to go for it but i doubt it.

Hmmm but i also need gems to buy episodes, Skyscale would be more expensive if i buy gems with gold, guess i will go for griffin....probably.

So i just finished PoF story (was really nice) and i would like to ask about flying mounts. Now my question is can i unlock Skyscale by just buying Living World Season 4 episode 6 - War Eternal, or will i need to buy all episodes in order to complete it?Also i would like to know if Skyscale is easier to unlock than Griffin?

There is, the scroll of heroics. Read the link that Linken.6345 posted above. One scroll is for PoF hero points, the other for HoT hero points. I used then to get one of my boosted chars all the HoT hero points and I had a lot left over for a second boosted character. And I'm not a hard-core WvW'er by any means. Hehe i know what WvW is and that i can earn HP in it, but i was asking because of what Dante.1763 said, now i understand that he was earning HP in WvW instead of doing HP in HoT. I thought there was an item from WvW that grants you like finished HP in HoT lol....ah well one can hope :P

You guys were talking about using wvw for hero points? What is that about?
