  1. I haven't used the skiff all too much until just a few days ago so I'm not sure if this is something new or if it has been happening. Sometimes while sitting on a skiff, I'll be unable to anchor because it is ever so slightly moving, and it doesn't stop. It kind of looks vaguely like it's glitching and drifting at the same time like it's got a smaller fps than normal. The only way I can fix it while I'm in the middle of the water is to get off of it, hop onto a skimmer, and then place it elsewhere and walk onto it instead of sitting on it. Not sure if this has been happening to anyone else! Sorry it's so wordy, I'm not the best at describing things haha
  2. Aw figures I'm in NA haha. The whole event sounds amazing! As for the raffle, I'll take number 29! 🙂 Aquarian Z.4351
  3. Yeah I can tell it's a weak one haha. My friends gifted me with this prebuilt ibuypower PC this past June actually. How can I check what PSU I have? And assuming I'm looking at the right thing, my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.60 GHz. Are there any other specs I can give that would help you help me? Don't worry about budget, if I have to save up to get what I want then so be it. But if we're gonna put a price, then I'd prefer to use whatever comes best under $1000.
  4. Hi there everyone! I'm just looking for some recommendations for a new GPU. The current one I have is NVIDIA GeForce GT 710. I am genuinely in love with the art style and graphics of this game, it's honestly what drew me in from the start. However, I play with the lowest possible graphics settings (the preset for best performance in-game) and I'm in love with how smooth everything is that way. What I want is to be able to play it that smoothly, but with the graphics up a bunch. I will be honest and say I'm not very familiar with computer specs or anything, I still barely know the difference between a GPU and a CPU LOL. I upgraded my RAM recently and I thought that'd fix my "issue", but I'm guessing it's the graphics card that needs a boost-- unless there's some other thing in this computer that I'm unaware of that I gotta upgrade in order to get my game to look how I want it to haha. If you've got your graphics all the way up and your frames look amazing, what is it that you use? Thank you for all responses in advance 🙂
  5. Good idea, I'll have to keep my eye out for that. To be honest I (VERY recently) realized the importance of doing dailies, so that's definitely my bad. Thank you for the advice!
  6. I only say too hard from my experience, which is not much.I'm still fairly new so I'm working towards completing the living story, still on season 4 so I haven't done any of the newer stuff yet. However, it seems that in every single instance there is at least 1 battle or feature that gets me killed or reset dozens of times. I'm a suuuper casual player and I'm really enjoying the story, but it's hard to enjoy it when I'm on the verge of closing the whole game during every single chapter out of frustration. Admittedly the fault is on my end, because I have absolutely TERRIBLE ping and there's nothing I can really do about it. Because of that, I'm just kinda screwed in terms of timing, which is basically a necessity in PvE. Other than that I just kinda suck at combat LOL.I do genuinely love this game and I know the majority of people breeze through it like a feather, but in my personal experience it's too hard to even get through the living story-- in fact I almost always ignore the achievements because there's no way I can complete them.I've never done any raids or fractals... whatever those even are... and based on some of the replies I've seen I don't think I'll be set to try them any time soon with the way this game is going for me LOLAnother thing in regards to the difficulty of this game is some of the ridiculous requirements for unlocking things. My main example right now would be the Griffon. By now most people are done with the Elon Riverlands, however there is some group event that I have to do to complete part of the collection. The thing is, I can never find anyone to help me get through it since everyone is past this stage of the game. I've given up on trying to get the Griffon for the time being because of that, and also because of the price, but I'm hoping to get back to it soon.I'm not looking for replies telling me to "get good" or to tell me why I'm wrong, I'm just telling it as it is for me. Like I said, I love this game. I don't see myself leaving any time soon, I feel too far in to stop now haha. This is the first real MMO that I've played so it kind of feels like home to me in a way. I just wish there was at least a difficulty option for living world since the game is very unforgiving towards my ping issues. Yes the game is too hard FOR ME, hence the title of the thread is asking for my opinion. I'm aware it is cake for like 90% of its players, but I just happen to be in that bottom 10%.
  7. Much appreciated, thank you! I guess I'll go on and start Season 4 :)
  8. I recently finished the PoF storyline and have been trying to get the Griffon mount. So far I have only completed the Crystal Oasis and Desert Highlands portions of the Open Skies achievements. I can't get past the Elon Riverlands one because of the group event (which I honestly feel like group events shouldn't be required to get a mount but that's just me) and of course the cost of the pieces I need to purchase are also beyond me. I did a few RIBA runs which I recently discovered so of course I don't have 250 gold readily available to purchase all of these things-- in fact I drained my account down including selling some Glacial hammer skin which I have no idea how I got down to a few silvers just to finish the Desert Highlands portion.I really want to move on to Season 4, but at the same time part of me wants to actually be finished with the PoF mounts beforehand. I'm aware that the Skyscale becomes available sometime in Season 4, though I'm not sure of the difficulty to unlock it, and I'm not keeping my hopes up that it'll be easy. Should I just push the Griffon to the side for now and move on?
  9. I'll definitely be looking into everyone's advice. Thank you all so much for your contributions, I really appreciate it <3
  10. Entering Tangled Labyrinth has nothing to do with anything of this. LS2 is also unrelated except for being a continuation of the story but it is unnecessary for unlocking masteries. That wasn’t the point at all, but how do I even enter the labyrinth then? To start Torn From the Sky I have to enter an instance in there according the map, but like I said it’s blocked off... I can’t seem to figure it out :/ Normally you should have continued from the Prologue instance but the entrance to Torn from the Sky is above the labyrinth. The entrance is at ground level while the labyrinth is underground. There is an entrance to a small area just west of the vista at the amber fort. omg! I could've sworn I looked everywhere haha, thank you so much! :)

  12. I hate the term noob/newb(??idk what people use anymore) but wow I cannot help but describe myself as that at the bare minimum.I've had this game for many years (3-4 I believe) and have only played a handful amount of times that I just recently completed one cycle of daily login rewards. I've played way more now than I have any time in the past. I hit level 80 and completed the personal story late last week.My problem is... I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I initially wanted to get 100% world completion to start. Then I realized I can get gliders/mounts from the expansions which I had recently purchased, which would help with world completion immensely. THEN I realized I need to finish one point of the HoT story to make my EXP bar stop spamming me every time I kill an enemy telling me that "your current ability is fully trained and ready to master" in order to start using Mastery Points. I can't even enter the tangled labyrinth or whatever it's called because it is blocked off. From there, I decided to start season 1 (aka watched the cinematic) and purchase LW S2.At this point I'm super frustrated. I don't know if my gear/weapons just suck, or if I'm just not doing something right. I beat Aerin today in chapter 1, but that battle alone killed me-- no exaggeration-- about 10+ times (or so it felt like it, I stopped counting). I'm an Ele, and I've recently started enjoying using 2 daggers as my weapons (not that they've really helped me anymore than using a staff would). I don't know if story mode is only solo or not, but I prefer doing things solo just because that's how I enjoy things. I'm a super casual player, but I'd at least like to make it through the game without dying 3 times per battle and 5-15 times per boss. One thing I never really took a shot at was Crafting. Would that help me more? If so, what's the best way to get started and how long would it take until I can get weapons and gear that would actually keep me alive more than 15 seconds?Builds are another thing I never really looked at, I just kinda chose what appealed to me most, whether it helps me more or not.So yeah... sorry it's such a long post but I've been so on and off with this game and I'd REALLY like to get into it. It's a beautiful world with seemingly great content, so any tips on what I should do to better my experience would be super appreciated! :)
  13. Honestly I've had this game for 3-4 years and have been so terribly on and off with it (only completed the login rewards cycle once) but I'm really trying to get back into it. Not that I have much to lose, but I don't see myself quitting any time soon. So the only thing that would drive me away is the game simply being shut down.
