oh man I hate messing with the registry, but TY. Would this apply to W10 and it causes a delay with the space bar? I would guess this goes with win10 as well but i am not sure since i use win7.

Don't forget holding down a key is like continously typing that key. (check in word or texteditor) So yes the double space is already in. You can change the delay in windows 7 like this. As you know or not know events are on timer you should be there before time is up.
