I came back because of the quarantine, work and RL stuff stopped me from playing for a while previously and I just didn't get back to it, I saw they had a sale for the two expansions so got those, and rolled a new character, I'm having a good time with it so will stick with it this time even when the whole Covid situation ends.

Looks like main server data base has failed rolling everything back to two days ago all progress and purches etc wiped

Anet didn't do a rollback they would have notified if one was to happen, it looks very much like the main server Database failed and has gone to a backup which sadly is two days ago, we need to wait for Anet to sort it out it's a waste of time doing anything you will just lose more if you continue.

I have stopped playing for now, no use doing anything until Anet respond we don't know how much can be saved, best to wait to see what they can do and go from there.

Hi there seems to have been a major crash that has wiped over two days worth of progress and purchases etc, everyone is affected ( at least in the EU ) We are waiting for a response by Anet but as it's early hrs in the morning for them in the U.S it could be a little while yet

Thankfully I hadn't spent any Gems on stuff like others, pretty much lost a ton of progress and levels, lost achievements and some lvl 80 drops that I didn't get the chance to bank..
