Technician few times test my modem , Download was 90+ Mbps , Upload was 20 Mbps . He sad that modem is working fine , cos those are max limits of what provider is offering in my area and he was correct on that . Before he left , he sad : "just for sake of it , I will change your modem for new one , to make sure I did all I could for You " . He swap modems , we run tests and they come up with same speeds as before . He told me that the problem must be in my comp . I told him that trough the house I got 3 game desktops , and I like to use from time to time different one to play .Its all depends witch part of the house I'm in , so how possible is that all 3 comps got infected with something and all end up with PING spike ? After he left my house , I start thinking : They all (3 desktops) have in common besides game , Windows 10 and auto updates , and I did install on all of them Firefox browser and some ad blockers on top of that . something must be blocking upcoming data . Il figure Il be working on that next . Im going to start with ad blockers , than maybe after that I move to modify parts of Window Firewall or something . So , what I did next is I disable "AdBlock" , and "ABP" on Firefox , I test once more speed , and than I log in to the game . For 4 hr now I'm playing GW2 . Steady at around 140 PING . No spikes whats so ever , no latency and o ready I join few events with lots of other players and finish those . Eazy Cheezy . Game is running smooth. I doubt that those ad-blocker's got anything to do with it , It was probably modem all the way . To soon for me to say definitely that my problem vanish for good , its only 4 hr I'm playing so far , but I'm optimistic . Bottom line is , I got new modem and game is running good so far . Is it possible that modem can retain top speed but is at fault cos produce those spikes at the same time ? ........possible , maybe , who knows

btw , I also live in NA and play on EU server . Today I call my internet provider and I'm going to get technician stop by Friday afternoon . During the call they run some diagnostics and offer to send expert to my house . Hopefully soon I will find out whats going on . We got so many game patches lately , but its possible that those got nothing to do with PING problem . Maybe its just coincident . Maybe its faulty modem or loose cable . Iv been playing GW for years , and only now , in last few days Iv experience problem with such PING spikes . The weird thing is that I can watch TV on my comp , movies , with no problem at all . Its just GW2 that is not playable do to latency , otherwise I wouldn't even know there is something wrong with my internet connection .

In last 2-3 days same here . Ping went sky high (600-2000) and makes game unplayable .

Ranger "Call of the Wild " Defiance break " have range 240 only . Its just to close to a target . To use it one have to be standing in the face of a target . Please expand some distance on that . As a example : I'm using in my build Short bow / Axe + War horn . In order to break Defiance bar on Boss , I'm using Short bow #5 , Pet - Gazelle , and I have to run up to the face of target just to use "Call of the Wild " .Than after that I have to run away to make up some distance again . How weird is that ? That War horn 240 is not good in my opinion. Way to small radius . If war horn on Ranger meant to be defense weapon only , that "Defiance break " is not need it there , but it will make Ranger unable to break Defiance bar on any Boss .On the other hand if war horn meant to be offensive weapon , one shouldn't run up to the target just to use this one skill and try to ran back after that cos is using range weapons . That's why I would like to see some adjustment to that , please. Thank You for Your time reading this .
