  1. The new links will happen tonorrow, as they should considering links happen on the last week of every 2nd month, this whole conversation about delaying due to Thanksgiving makes absolutely no sense... Grouch just confirmed it on discord moments ago
  2. My opinion hasn't changed much on this one. I don't find the difference between the two substantial enough to worry over which is "better" for solo play. As I see it, earth has a bit better damage and passive mitigation, but arcane performs nearly as well and has better recovery and more of a focus on evasion. You can't go wrong with either build, but my preference is still for arcane because I love having evasive arcana! Even so, would u suggest making the switch over to traiblazers with undead runes? It won't be that expensive for me, i'll just stat swap, so no big deal Yeah definitely. You lose some health, but gain a good bit of armor, condition damage, and bleed duration. How about the weapon sigils + food? Do they change aswell (with the arcane variant) or do they remain the same as before?

  4. Which build have you been using? Fire/arcane or fire/earth? I prefer the latter one, by far, but is it the best overall? Plus it's quite more expensive to get, due to the fact of being full trailblazer
  5. Which is, in your opinion the best (most fun + best overall) class/specialization in open world? This includes meta events, world bosses, simple farm, you name it
  6. The only wrong answer here is to waste expertise above the +100% condition duration cap. The way I play my build focuses entirely on burn damage (typically 80-90%). For this reason, I've chosen Balthazar runes for the +50% burn duration. The additional expertise from Trailblazer is wasted as a result. This is why I use Dire rather than Trailblazer. If you prefer to use a different rune, you should adjust your stats to compensate for any lost condition duration. Yeah, it makes sense...Are u using any base stat infusions? I know u dont need them, but you could have a lot of laurels standing by doing nothingI'm talking about th +4 ones, not the +7,+8,+9 that u get from fractals.Since this is only an open world build u won't need agony anyway And if so, which would be the best, stacking condi damage or expertise? (+4 condi damage per slot or +4 expertise per slot) (in order tor each 100% without traiblazers + food) The answer is still the same. Don't overcap your burning duration. The max you need is 90% since you get 10% from the weaver trait. If you're using food then you'll need even less than that. You can play around in build editor to minmax duration to ~88-90% and fill the rest with expertise infusions, but for an open world build, it's a waste of time and gold. If you don't need expertise you'll obviously benefit more from condi damage. I just wanted to point out that the Weaver's Prowess trait is actually +20% condition duration (it also grants +10% condition damage), making your cap target 80%. With my build this only requires 10% condition duration from expertise (or other sources). As for the infusions? Seriously, don't overthink it! You won't get kicked from open world for not having infusions! :) ahaha, I know that, it's just that I have so many laurels laying around, and since I have ascender gear for this build anyway, I'd rather use the empty infusion slots

  8. @AliamRationem.5172 not sure if you've replied to this before, but I'll give it a go anyway: Do you think the build would do a lot better with full traiblazers or even full trail + those 3 dire trinkets (inverted build)?
  9. For some reason I can't into the whole guardian gimmickI don't find the gameplay fun nor interesting, and despite being versatile I don't see myself enjoying the classI'm torn between ranger (soulbeast) and engineer (holosmith), both of them look and probably feel extremely fun to play, flashy and effective So why did you list Guardian in your poll? Why not just list the two you are interested in? And what exactly is the "Guardian gimmick?" Their class mechanic? Never heard of that. If it is between Soulbeast and Holosmith, I'd say Soulbeast, simply because you've already been playing a sword-specialization. I'd recommend Scrapper though.Because at that point I hadn't tried guardian.I'll keep farming the Halloween event and I'll make a new character by then. Either way, I think I'll enjoy both of them far more than I've enjoyed guardian

  11. I've been having a ton of fun with my elementalist weaver, but I've reached endgame, full ascended and not much to do, so I'm thinking of making a new class, and I can probably use the lvl 80 boost from my PoF purchase, so, the question is, which one? I'm a pve focused player, with little to no interest in spvp. I'm constantly doing high tier fractals, open world exploration and killing champions, strikes and raids whenever I canI would prefer to maintain the DPS role, but I wouldn't mind going for a more tanky focused class, although everyone can tank.Healing is out of the question for now, so even If I picked a ranger, I'd be going for the soulbeast route and neglect the druid. But this is just a quick overview
  12. I'm interestedCan u send me your discord link so that we can talk about it? Ty
  13. I didn't change the build, but the pyromancers puissance trait changed a bit and there were a couple of minor nerfs to a couple of relevant skills. The trait change may not be reflected in the skill editor, but you can see the details in release notes here on the forum. As for bursting? I haven't done the math on that. 250 condi damage sounded good to me and you can actually keep the stacks while switching to a second weapon and use a third sigil. So maybe I will play with bursting and see how it goes. Sure thing, let me know your feedbackI'll be doing the same thing
  14. @AliamRationem.5172 I saw you've updated the build on gw2skills but I cant see any difference tbh. At first I though the GM fire talent had changed, but it as it turns out, it didn't, so what did u chage? Also, is the sigil of corruption worth taking over the sigil of bursting (5% condi damage)? I know it gives u a flat 250+ condi damage at 25 stacks and it also gives u a bit of endurance recovery, but we already have so many ways of getting the endurance back and get a few extra dodges, wouldn't it be better for a bit more dmg?
