Read how it's implemented: you have 4 slots for legendary swords: Main hand + off hand - first weapons set Main hand + off hand - second weapons set So if you want to have legendary swords in all hands and both sets you need 4 of them, if you have more (5+) you will receive compensation. But for armor you have only 1 slot per skin.

Absolutely agree with topic. We got just skins for price of legendary this is not fair at all. I have all 3 types of armor, all runes and all sigils (actually I have more sigils now because you can still take duplicates from these boxes what makes no sense but it's possible) and I have 18 boxes which have no use for me. Also like someone said in other post: people who haven't done raids now can choose raid armor from these boxes which shouldn't be a thing. For me this "compensation" equals to multiplying by 0 more than a year of hard work to farm and craft all my armors. I'm really disappointed and lost now, I was so hyped about EoD, dx11, armory announce returned to game from long break and what now? After I saw what I get I logged out and don't want to login and touch something. My account looks like broken now with all duplicates which lay like dead weight on my characters and boxes which have no usage. One good thing is ability to select legendary sigils and runes (but if you had them already you got nothing) but again now I have duplicated here because you can choose more for some reason. I expected to see resources equals to investment but not skins and it strange to see people speaking about effect on game economy if it was only minor number of players 0.008% (or was it more actually?) Like I said I expected good QoL improvements but got broken account 😞 from this point I wish this armory never exists.

Same problem here, I crafted light\medium\heavy PvE 3 times (without 2 items) and got chests where I can choose them again, what is worse as experiment I selected duplicate again and it's possible so I have more duplicates now, I'm confused and lost 😢 And what is worse again PvP and WvW just skins (and just base skins) which can be acquired without crafting legendary.

I have 34 legendary armor pieces which now lay in my inventory and I can't do anything with them... And I didn't receive any messages yet except message: create Support Ticket if you didn't receive compensation when I'm trying to do something with them (

"Legendary trinkets that are available with and without visual effects, like Conflux and Transcendence, will now feature a visibility toggle for their effects." Can we have same feature to disable back items of other players????

Are there any updates? It's been almost year since introduction of laggy items like backpacks and flame Skyscale. I like this skins but I lost all my groups just because I want to play with these skins while people can't because their fps drops below playable. Just add option to disable other people back items and other skins like it's done on WvW where there are no problems with such laggy skins (but there are many other problems like skilllag) Unfortunately I stopped playing my favorite game already few months just because I can't play with friends using skins which I like.

It's known issue with latest backpacks and it seems not gonna be fixed: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/1369544The problem here - all with whom I played so far doesn't care about this problem they just ask me or other people with this backpack hide it during raids\fractals or other content and don't want to raise priority of this issue so we won't see resolution to this problem and we will get more laggy items in future :angry:

Are there any updates? This problem has been around for over two months already. New Vermilion chair don't have this problem even it have simillar fire effect but it's static so it's animation issue I guess? And fun fact I played with this wings a lot in raids and people always complained about FPS drops but noone respond here people always blamed servers while real problem is wings.

I create one more video: as you can see "Burning aura" on this wings buggy itself you can see same effect on new skyscale https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Incarnate_Flame which also result in FPS drops. I have model limit and quality on lowest and it's not affect wings - quick fix could be disable backpacks as well when you set lowest quality for models.

Today I did few raids on my chrono with this wings and everyone complain that they had unusual FPS drops but almost no one guess that it was because of wings.People just unaware that just skin can result in such big issue. Here screen from my last raid where one person was aware about this problem. So it seems many people experience this problem but don't know that root cause JUST Shiny SKIN!

I recorded one more video: Problem exists and it still here, I did more tests with my guild mates who have this wings and results are similar, I can create more videos later if needed, system configuration doesn't matter every setup experience fps drops.

We did a lot more testings with my guild and this issue really affects game experience hard!Single mesmer using this backpack cause FPS drops by 10-30 depends of system configuration for most people game become just unplayable because their FPS drops below 10 sometimes. We can't force all people stop using that backpack which result in slideshows for big number of users whether it is open world, wvw or instance content.How can we address this issue to ArenaNet? Hi all,Like title said this is a huge problem now, there are a lot of people with Vermilion wings and it causes high FPS loss.We tested it yesterday during weekly raids and my team experience FPS loss from 10 to 30 frames, for some of them raids become just slide show and I had to turn off my back skin (and swap to other class cause I don't want to play on class without complete glamour :cry: ). After that everything back to norm. We tested it on Chrono and FB and problem not class related but skin related.This problem affects not only raids but all open world areas and WvW, now everyone uses this skin and FPS drops in open world and WvW become unacceptable, even on high performance PC.We have two back items which causes huge FPS drops in a short period which result in general performance degradation.I think here we have 2 possible solutions:1) Some king of optimization (but I doubt that this is possible or easy to implement in short time)2) Add options to disable player auras\effects\back-items-skins like it done to armor and weapon glamour (this option will be the best in my opinion as it will help most number of people either in open world or WvW, there are a lot of other items which cause FPS drops and can't be disabled or hided)I hope this can be fixed ASAP because it becoming more and more critical.
