  1. I have a QoL request regarding the festival weekly achievement. It's an extreme grind on every festival, having to do 20-40 mount race runs a week just for the chest. It would be extremely helpful and way more fun if the daily festival achievement (the meta one which requires 3 other dailies for completion) to reward 50 points towards the weekly achievement. 🙂
  2. Hey there, I remember last year there was some vague update to Magic Find, I believe it was back in February. For me personally, stuff has stopped dropping since around that moment. Has anyone else experienced this issue? As an example, I've been doing Tequatl and Drakkar every day for a long time now, along with some friends. Before 2022, the Hoards that drop from these bosses dropped every 2-3 months on average. (that's about once every 60-90 days). But as of 2022, these have stopped dropping for me. As my friends are still dropping them every now and then, it's weird (and really annoying..) I haven't seen one in almost 1.5 year. That's about 450 runs. I've already contacted support but they said "it's working as intented" and directed me to the forums. Does anyone know what might have been updated? Or do you also have this issue? Or perhaps some tips? /Mystical
  3. No doubt this is bugged for accounts that unlocked the mastery line before playing the story. For those accounts it can never drop.
  4. This is exactly the reason why I think it's actually bugged (for some accounts). Most of my guildies have the same result; either 0 frostsaws or a lot of them. Let's hope they implement some fix for tonight's patch. Also, I got an eye once on the alt account, so it's rare but it dropped (few months ago)
  5. Just wanted to let everyone know I think the frostsaw drop is actually bugged. I have been doing dragonstorm for at least 100 times, probably around 150 times, on 2 accounts, and both haven't gotten the frostsaw drop. I recall there was some kind of issue with the loot when dragonstorm released. There's also this mechanic where you need the mastery to get different loot (infusions) from the chest. Maybe we can get someone at anet to quickly take a look at it, to see if anything is wrong? I feel like it's impossible to get the skin because I've done it so many times now.
  6. a setting to output only yourself + npcs/enemies would be really useful for pve openworld. but for instanced content such as fractals, strikes and raids, might need to have it forced to show squad or party. that said a setting like this would be useful for those who treat/play the game as a solo experience/single player I agree with the show squad or party, but most raiders know they need to set the setting to at least Medium to be able to play.I think simply tuning down the Lowest setting even further would be the most beneficial and quickest win without them breaking something. Not really agreed on the solo experience/single player part. Whenever I am in a squad, during any meta event, I only see name tags everywhere. The issue now is, the Lowest setting renders maybe 10 players closest to me. But I cannot see them anyway because 1. my FPS is low due to this issue and 2. there's too many name tags around. Thus I think creating a 'None' option would not make the game feel any different/more single player but it would increase FPS a lot.
  7. Hello everyone/ArenaNet?, As we all know, performance in the game hasn't been improving over the years.I hear people complaining about the game performance almost every day, saying that the game needs to be 'upgraded to dx12'.While I think this might improve performance, it's too big of a 'refactor' to actually make it worthwhile for the devs to do this. Another option would be for the devs to add the option 'None' to the 'Character Model Limit' section. Or fix the 'Lowest' setting. As we all know this option has a big impact on performance. But even on the Lowest setting it still shows a lot of stuff it should not show in my opinion. For example, a lot of gemstore skins are still shown on Lowest, and clones have a massive impact as well (during Largos FPS drops to almost 5 while in other areas it's 30).Whenever I free roam through the world I get between 40 and 60 fps depending on the map. When more players join me/are rendered, I mostly crash to 5-10fps. I don't think implementing such an option, or revisiting the 'Lowest' option, would take a huge amount of development time.A lot of us have been playing the game for many years on the same computer/laptop, and while upgrading hardware can help, most of us just play guildwars on it so it's not worth it. Such a small change could get our potato back to 30fps/60fps/playable game in my opinion.(If you're a developer reading this, please ask around if someone is able to do a quick test with lowering the character model even more and see if it works :D) Greetings,Mystical
  8. "Character Model Limit: None" (don't show any other players+mounts)Maybe this would be an easy feature to implement due to there already being certain levels/limits. Background: We all know this option affects FPS big-time. Some of us don't really have a supercomputer and I myself have been getting lower frames since new maps got released. Especially in meta's where there's a lot of players around, FPS sometimes averages on 10 instead while I get 25 in an empty (new) map and 50 in a core tyria/older map. I think this is due to the game continuously predicting the "closest player" and trying to render a few of them. It would be awesome if there would be an option "None" so we can continue to enjoy this beautiful game!
